We started the search for my bridesmaids' dresses at One Enchanted Evening because I thought it would be nice to support a local business, but it almost ruined our day. We made an appointment, but when we arrived they were too busy to help us. We stood around for about 20 minutes waiting for them to bring out the one dress we asked to see. When someone finally brought it out, it looked cheap and the fabric was really thin, nothing like the picture I saw on-line. I asked the woman how much the dress was and she told me it was $150.00. I was surprised based on the quality of the dress. The woman became very snippy with me and said "well you're NOT going to find a bridesmaid dress ANYWHERE less than $150. This irked me but my sister tried on the dress anyway. While she was in the fitting room, my cousin asked me to try on a veil to see what it will look like. I was putting it on as the snippy woman walked quickly by with some girls in prom dresses and shot me a nasty look. I said I was just trying it on and she said very loudly PLEASE DONT as she blew by me. How dare she!?! I'm a bride! Maybe I need a veil!!! We were all so offended by her rudeness I told her we would be spending our money elsewhere and left. I will NEVER set foot in that store again. We found beautiful gowns at Alfred Angelo in Greece, NY. I highly recommend Alfred Angelo, do not go to One Enchanted Evening if you want an enjoyable day of dress shopping.
