Karolyns is a pet and people frendly place. I have two dogs, and they love staying at Karolys! My husband and i travle alot, and when we fly we can't take the dogs. Everytime, if we call or just stop in last minue, they always have room for our dogs. The workers always let us walk the dogs into the back were the kennles are, and lets us say good-bye to our puppies! They also know Jack and Sparrow (our dogs) by name. So if you need a pet and people friendly place, were you can trust your dogs will get treated right, go to Karolyns! Pros: The staff is very nice and they love all animals! Cons: The cost in a little steep, but they take good care of your animals. more

Beware if double-coated dog 5/5/2007

I went here because of a family recommendation. Family Member never had work done here, but they had a good, long-term reputation. I brought in an American Eskimo for a summer cut and she cut it like a poodle. WAY TOO SHORT for an Eskimo. I can't take him outside much now because of sunburn risk. When I called prior to taking him, I was told the cut would be a minimum of 1/2"- 1". Most of the cut is 1/8"- 1/4". I am very unsatisfied. Pros: Nice people Cons: inconsistancy in grooming depending on who you talk to more
