Go somewhere else..... we ended up paying $229 for a room for 2 hours of Karaoke with 10 people...way too expensive. Check your bill closely, they are sketchy with prices and policies. more

Great place to have a good time. The rooms are large and there are plenty of songs in lots of different genres. The walls are insulated well so no one will care if you sing off key. more

I like Melody 1,but Karaoke Melody 2 just open since last month, there have more big rooms. The rooms are very nice. We had 45 people birthday party last week at Melody 2. We had so much fun. Price is very reasonable. The 2 locationas are very close. Not even 1 mile apart. I bet you will love Melody 2 if you like melody 1. more

Karaoke Melody = A Great Time 6/23/2008

I went to Karoke Melody on 6/21/08 with my boyfriend and one of my good friends and her husband. One of the first things we noticed was the intimate setting and trendy decor. As we walked inside we were greeted by smiling staff who seemed eager to accommodate us. We told them we had a party of 4, although only 2 of us had arrived so far. We were given a room that was perfect for our party. The interior of the room included a flat screen tv, a brown wrap-around leather couch, chocolate colored walls and a coffee table. You could even set the mood by dimming the lights. Another nice feature inside the room was the service button, which allowed us to ring for service without having to leave the room. The menu was minimal, but they did allow us to order food from the asian restaurant next door, which was delivered to us in our room by a nice lady in a kimono and slippers. Karaoke Melody also has a bar inside. The drinks were a little on the expensive side. For example, a long island was about $8 if I remember correctly. All of the staff and guests at the bar appeared to be having a great time, which added to the ambience of the establishment. The song book is very extensive with a separate binder for newer songs. Most genres were covered, which was great being that my party and I love all types of music. They also had 4 tambourines in the room, which we couldn't wait to play with. We had such a good time singing, drinking and eating that 2 hours slipped by before we knew it. I was quite impressed and will definitely be going back again. Pros: Parking, Ambience, Song List Cons: Kind of Pricey, Small Menu more

Better Service and Less Expensive Karaoke Elsewhere 6/23/2008

I visited late one Sunday night after not being able to meet with one of my Korean friends. Because of boredom I drove around Buford Highway looking for bars/nightclubs that were still open. When I saw Karaoke Melody (New Dynasty Night Club) it reminded me of the Karaoke clubs at Chinatown in Dallas, Texas. I was curious what Melody had to offer as I had been to several other Karaoke clubs in the area including Goomba. This curiosity led me to park and walk through the hallway which had Christmas lights strung around the top. As soon as I entered, I was approached by a small Korean man in a tux which I assumed was the bartender. I as abruptly told this club was for Koreans only. This selecting who comes in and who does not upsets me greatly because looking around I tell there were Vietnamese and Japanese seated. I also heard English songs being sung in the background. I definitely would not recommend this place. I have read that there are less expensive places like Do Re Mi and Happy Karaoke. Pros: Atmosphere Cons: Price/Service/Attitude more

Lots of songs but way overpriced 9/16/2007

We enjoyed our night at Karaoke Melody. However, the prices were insane! They charge per-person/per-hour instead of per-room/per-hour. Because of that, our room ended up costing about $80/hr since we had a lot of people packed in there. At Do Re Mi and Happy Karaoke, we would have paid less than half as much. I will admit that they do have more English songs than most of the other karaoke places but the atmosphere isn't as good and the price is completely unjustified. Pros: Great English Song Selection, comfortable couches Cons: Overpriced more

AWESOME place for great time! 8/11/2007

My brother-in-law, who used to live in Japan and loves Japanese-style karaoke, came to visit this past week, so he, my husband, and I decided to find someplace to go to do karaoke. We found Karaoke Melody and spent three hours or so there. It was awesome-- we had a private room with great equipment, the staff was friendly, service was great, and their selection of songs (we were singing songs in English) was INCREDIBLE. We never had a moment without music because we couldn't help but keep finding songs we wanted to sing! The songs were also extraordinarily up-to-date, and they had all their songs organized by song title, artist, and most recent additions. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making your karaoke experience as fun and easy as possible, and I have never had such a fun doing karaoke in my life! more

It's a best place for Karaoke! 7/9/2007

Karaoke Melody has 8 private rooms. I've been there with 10 people with no problem. There's a bar at front, so I could just relax when I was tired of doing karaoke. Me and my friend had some cocktails (Mango Martini and Water Melon Martini) and it was fantastic!!! If you go there with more than 8 ppl, they give you half off discount right now! (it's amazing!!!) more
