Kaplan Test Preparation

I would highly recommend Kaplan for anyone looking to take a standardized test for either undergradatue or graduate study. I used their program before I took the LSAT's and I found it extremely useful. The classroom portion is a good way to hear someone explain the methods, but the most useful aspect is the wealth of practice tests and workshops they have online. I found these to be the most useful because I could practice on my own schedule. Yes, the course is pricey and it would be great to score high without taking it, but considering the cost of college and grad school, it is a relatively small price to pay to improve your score and mos tlikely your chances of getting into the school of your choice. more

I recently took Kaplan's test prep to study for the GMAT's. I found the Kaplan course very helpful. The classroom based course was okay, but the real advantage of Kaplan lies in their online resources. You are exposed to a ton of workshops and practice sessions that help you hone your skills and learn the tricks and traps. I spent a lot of time studying and working at their centers and found this very helpful. Being able to sit in a quiet environment where you weren't distracted very much helps you prepare for test day. I preferred going to the Cooper Square center because I found it more spacious and nicer. If you are taking a GMAT class in the near future, try to get Huao as a teacher. He is the one who trains their teachers and is really really good at breaking problems down and helping you see the quickest way to solve them. which center is better if you can, get huao as a teacher more
