I have been to Kannon's many times over the past few months . When you walk into the store you are greeted not by one but by two or three of the ladies who work there. My mother and my future mother in law needed dresses for my wedding. Not only did they find the ""perfect dress"" they also bought jewelry and other accessories. I like to shop and have never known every staff members name by the time I left. They were ALL helpful even the lady who fits you for the dress!\r \r Living in Raleigh, Wendell is a short trip for a wonderful shopping experience. All the ladies are knowledgeable and kind. Susan Johnson - I have been shopping at Kannon's for years and their customer service is the best. I can call them, tell them what I'm looking for, and when I arrive at their store, they will have the clothes in the dressing room, ready for me to try on. They are my 'go to' place when I need a quick outfit and don't want to head to the mall in Raleigh. I feel so blessed to know the Knuckley's and they treat me like I'm family. So glad to have them close by! more

Kannon's is the GO TO for mother of the bride or groom. Kudos to these sweet southern ladies. Impeccable service! After a long search in numerous fine stores with maybe one or two dresses my size to try.......Kannon's offered a HUGE selection of BEAUTIFUL dresses at an affordable price. It is one stop shopping.......I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. more

I never write reviews, but after shopping at Kannon's today I feel like I have to respond to the negative views below. My experience there was anything but negative!! I purchased a fabulous dress for my daughter's wedding and I had so much fun while I was there!! The entire staff made me feel so welcome and special. In under 2 hours I had a gorgeous dress, shoes, and jewelry. I would recommend this store to any 'mother of the bride' or anyone looking for an outfit for a formal occasion. I now plan on going back to get my rehearsal dinner outfit. The selection and quality of clothes was fantastic and the staff was impeccable. Thanks Kannon's!! more

Over the years, I have tried this store and each time I vow that I will not be back, and literally avoid the sidewalk in front of their store. But, giving them the benefit of the doubt, I tried it again. Big. Mistake. The Sales Personnel are so snooty and refuse to look or speak to you unless you meet their initial criteria.....look like you have money. I left that horrid place in tears. I cannot believe a store is able to stay in business that treats people so horribly. I will not make the mistake of going there again. Yes, they may have pretty clothes, but the attitudes are just as ugly as the clothes are expensive. more

A friend suggested I look for a dress for my son's wedding at Kannon's in Wendell. I had checked out several stores in Raleigh and shopped for ideas online. When I walked into Kannon's Clothing, (a closer drive than I first thought from Raleigh) I was greeted with a friendly smile and hello from all of the sales personnel. After checking out all the fabulous clothes I asked Catherine, one of the sales personnel to help me try on some dresses. I told her what I was looking for and from then on she became the most helpful person I have ever encountered shopping. Each dress I tried on she gave an honest opinion, suggested if an alteration was needed and offered cute accessories that I may want to add. I ended up buying the most gorgeous dress for the wedding and a beautiful dress for the rehearsal dinner. I feel that both are one of a kind and am not worried that I will ""run into myself"" at either occasion. I highly recommend Kannon's to anyone who is looking for that special dress and want to be treated like a good friend while shopping. more

I went to Kannon's looking for that special Mother of the Bride dress. The moment I stepped through the door I noticed the friendly smiles and happy greetings that all the sales personnel showed. I felt very comfortable looking at my leisure without someone pressuring me to purchase something, yet when I had a question there was someone right there to answer it. I normally don't write reviews but when a store goes above and beyond to help their customers, I felt I needed to share my great experience with others. The dress I purchased is unbelievably gorgeous, the quality of the material and craftsmanship is well worth the price I paid. I want to thank the staff at Kannon's for the wonderful experience I had, and I will definitely be back. more

I went to Kannon's to find a mother of the groom dress. The staff there helped me know what would be appropriate for a morning wedding. I found a beautiful dress that I felt special in. I received many compliments at the wedding. They also helped with the kind of shoes I should wear with it. The dress was more than I usually pay for clothes, but it was well worth it for this occasion. The dress was extremely well-made, and I didn't have to fear running into some else with the same dress on! I appreciate Kannon's especially since I had looked for months in dress shops and department stores in Wilson, Goldsboro, and Raleigh. I was beginning to run out of time-- and there was my dress at Kannon's! I will go there first next time. more

The people at Kannon's have been nothing short of wonderful! I went there at the suggestion of many to search for a mother of the bride dress...I was not disappointed in their selection. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even on a very busy Saturday. They helped me coordinate the entire outfilt including purse, shoes and jewelry. Loved it! In addition, I purchased some sportswear to wear at the numerous events surrounding the wedding. Will go back often...my new favorite store! more

I've been hearing about Kannon's for some time. I kept saying I was going to check it out but never got around to it. I needed a nice dress/suit to wear to a wedding so I decided this is the time to see what they have to offer. I have to say it was the most disappointing thing I've experienced in a long time, and I'll tell it to everyone who mentions the name to me. The clerks were extremely snooty, no one even greeted me or ask if I needed help. The merchandise was cheap looking but the prices were very high.................I will never go back. Cons: not what expected more
