I've had sushi here a few times, and it was just ok for the price. This is not the finest sushi you'll have in Dallas, but nothing to complain about for the decent price. The non-sushi entrees and appetizers on the menu, however? Horrible. Deep fried crab rangoon was fishy and greasy. Chicken Yakitori was almost inedible. The chicken was dry and flavorless, and the dipping sauce it came with tasted like it came out of a can. I was hoping the entree I ordered would erase the awful taste the appetizers left in my mouth, but it did not. Chicken katsu roll sounded delicious on the menu, with asparagus and carrots wrapped in chicken that was breaded and fried. The chicken once again resembled rubber, and it was utterly flavorless, even with the accompanying sauce and the vegatables. On the side was decent japanese cole slaw, but at this point, nothing could save this dinner. The non-sushi entrees were chinese buffet-quality, but the prices were four times what you'd pay at a buffet. I would skip this restaurant, and opt for something like Cafe Miso, which is just a few blocks away.
