Kampai is the absolute best sushi in AZ! Sushi, sashimi, etc. is always fresh and yummy! Sushi chef E.J. recommended cured salmon & it was DEE-licious!!! Chefs are from Japan...I think most of the waitresses are, too & they're very nice and always accomodating. Love to go here & would love to go more often if I could!!! Pros: Real Japanese sushi chefs! Fresh sushi, sashimi!!! Cons: I can't go more often... more

Don't let the bowling alley fool you. 7/24/2006

This place has very good sushi without the scottsdale attitude. I've only been a few times, but it's been very busy each time. Often with japanese people eating there...always a good sign. more
