Go get Chicken Curry Soup Noodle at Kame. I think they only serve it for lunch, but it is worth trying it. Nothing like thai curry. Very very yummy.

A bit pricey but well worth it! 4/23/2010

Coming from Hawaii, where we prize good sushi, this restaurant is where I go for a taste of home and never hesitate to recommend Kame's to visiting friends and family. So if you'e in the McMinnville area and craving sushi, then this is the place to go to! They have a great selection to choose from. I have friends who really are into the whole raw fish thing, so for those who aren't as adventurous, Kame's also has great dinners like tempura or dons to choose from. This restaurant is such a hot spot to eat in town that it's often crowed for dinners, and so there are times when service can be slow. However once you get your food, it is completely worth the wait! Pros: Great authentic sushi Cons: Price, the wait more

Go here for some awful sushi and service! 4/15/2009

Authentic Sushi in McMinnville 10/10/2005

I was pleasantly surprised when my wife and I first dined at Kame. The interior is very small and the decor ecclectic at best, but the Susho shines. While they do not have a large selection of different types of fish, the items they do have are impeccably fresh and delicious. Try the Hamachi and Maguro. The chef also brings in fresh seasonal fish when available, such as Toro (fatty tuna). Another plus at Kame is you can order 1 piece of Sushi, instead of a pair. Kame uses snow crab for all their rolls and nigiri. No imitation crab here! They carry traditional Japanese fare as well, all of it delicious and well-prepared. If you're a sake fan, you may purchase a bottle of Sake, and Kame will pour and store it for you. A free public parking lot directly across the street makes for easy parking. Pros: Excellent Sushi, Good Service, Reasonable Prices Cons: Small - but cozy more

The Best Place to eat in town!! 7/31/2005

Kame has the most delicious cuisine that the small town of McMinnville has to offer. The atmosphere is authentic and very quiet. It is a great place to take a date, but also suitable for a family occasion. The menu has a all kinds of great stuff. If you enjoy sushi, the ""Bob Roll"" is a must have. The gyoza is a great appetizer as a well and they always keep the green tea coming. The shrimp tempura is great and so is the california rolls. I would eat at Kame every night if I could! Pros: Great food, Great atmosphere, Nice people Cons: Bad parking more
