When u have a table of eight don't you think you could serve more than 3 meatballs at a time? I get the whole tapas concept but it was ridiculous! 18-25$ a plate...everyone left ...

When u have a table of eight don't you think you could serve more than 3 meatballs at a time? I get the whole tapas concept but it was ridiculous! 18-25$ a plate...everyone left hungry....and i paid a 400$ bill + tip then had to buy a hotdog at the bobcats game! I love art and i love food but REALLY? btw no one drank alcohol! Plenty of restaurants downtown that have better service, ambiance, and you actually have a meal! more

I had a terrible experience at the new restaurant, Kalu here in Charlotte. My friend and I were asked to leave AFTER being seated at an EMPTY bar AND being handed menus. They were ""slammed"" and could not serve us unless we had reservations. The GM, Bryan S. Emperor was far from accommodating and rude. Went to 5th Element and enjoyed beautiful people and attitudes. Kalu won't get my money and they shouldn't get yours.\r more
