We arrived for a late lunch. All of the sandwiches sounded wonderful, so we ordered 2 so we could share. They are made to order and the ingredients are the best. Bruno was very charming, telling us about Corsica and moving to America. Good food and good conversation, who could ask for more. Pros: Absolutely the best ingredients. I happened upon this little cafe one day during a snowstorm when I was in search of a mid-day treat for some co-workers and happened to find a treasure - a French cafe complete with loads of gourmet sandwiches, fabulous crepes (just like in France!), salads, fudge, everything. This is truly one of the best kept secrets of the Twin Cities. I have spent quite a bit of time in France and was always looking for a place to get a decent crepe or sandwich on baguette and this place is it - the prices are good, the food is fabulous and the choicese are many. This cafe is for anyone looking to try out a new place, anyone who has been to France and wants that 'baguette' taste or anyone seeking out great flavor. When you come into this little cafe, you would never think there is such a large offer. The decor is warm, the atmosphere is smiley and the food is great. I don't care that much about soups but some salads like the one with warm goat cheese is great, the avocado Normandy or the French tulip too but how to choose among 27 kind of sandwiches all gourmet !! My favorite so far the hot sandwich with 3 cheese melted together with olive oil, thyme, garlic and then red leaf lettuce and balsamic vinaigrette and the one with Pepper Jack, garlic, thyme, olive oil, chicken and peach ! You find sandwiches with fruits there and it is surprisingly good... strawberries (their Louis XIV), mango, plums,... Between the sansdwiches, salads, crepes, fondues and desserts,.... Yummy..
