I have enjoyed their buffet for lunches with friends many times. They have a great selection of meatless dishes so we veg-heads get our appetites really satisfied. The waitstaff were friendly and competent. I actually enjoyed the campy bollywood videos. I have ordered delivery four times. The food arrived hot, the order correct. more

GREAT service! I called a bit too late for delivery, so I had to go pick it up. When I picked up, I realized they were closed and stayed open just for me. When I apologized for not realizing how late it was, he smiled and said "Really, no problem. We don't want anyone to go hungry." The food was good. I hate to say that it's not the best Indian, but, they deliver and that makes up for it. Its great for a night you don't want to go out but are craving curry. 4 stars and I will be ordering again. :) more

Not only do they have delivery, they also have excellent food! We love this place. One time, we ordered 2 naans, but only got one. The next time we ordered, I wanted to make sure we got the two naans, and mentioned that last time we only got one. The man on the phone (maybe the owner?) was so nice. He insisted that they include our nan for free. I told him that he didn't have to do that, but he told me he felt terrible our previous order wasn't correct. When the food arrived, the driver told us that if anything is ever wrong, to call and he'll come right back with the correct order. When we opened the food, we had an absolute mountain of naan--no charge. Such attentive service from a restaurant we've never stepped foot in. Food was great. I had my old stand-by and my dining partner tried something new. Both were fantastic. My only complaint was that they charged $1.50 for Chutney with Nan. Usually that comes with it. It was presented as a choice...then when the bill came - SURPRISE. She did the same with a piece of plain Nan with the dinner. So other than the 4.50 I feel I was overcharged...it was good food. We've been looking for a good Indian delivery/takeout place in the Greenwood/Crown Hill/Ballard area for a long time, and in Rangoli (since renamed Maharajah Kitchen), we may have finally found one. We've so far only tried one dish -- the chicken vindaloo -- but it was exactly what we were looking for ... spicy, flavorful and filling. Perfect for a cold fall day! Despite the incongruous decor, the buffet is one of the most extensive of Seattle's Indian restaurants. Featured is a large vegetarian selection and often TWO dessert choices. Service has been extremely friendly the handful of times i've been there. Though i haven't been there for dinner yet, i definitely will soon.
