Today, now 3,000 miles away from CA, I was thinking about Kaleidoscope and wishing that such a store existed here in Massachusetts. \r Kaleidoscope truly is a teacher's and parent's candy store, fun factory and rich resource. \r I remember the hours, time and money I spent there. It was all worth it!\r Thanks to Kaleidoscope and their great staff, I was able to enhance my classroom, the classroom of others and enrich my son's life with rich literature, educational toys and manipulatives. So thank you to those who started this store and to those who keep it going. If it's anything like it was 9 years ago, it is truly a treasure chest to open and revisit. more

Completely Unsatisfied! 8/18/2010

Snooty! A store like this is meant to serve the greater good as far as education is concerned. If I had the funds, I would go start my own teacher store. No matter how long you have been in business, how many schools and parents you have served, it boils down to customers. Day in & day out. When you disregard them, treat them as second best, talk down to them, you will lose their business as you have lost mine. I won't be passing the "positive" aspects about your service and store on to others. more

I wish we had a Kaleidoscope in San Jose. It is kind of like a Hickleebee's, but is is bigger and better. They have a great selection of learning toys and books. It reminds me of the Learning Express store we used to have in San Jose. This is a family run business. PROS: excellent selection of quality toys and books CONS: it is far from San Jose more

Fun and Friendly 4/25/2006

This store is a great resource for teachers. The quality and selection of children?s books is impressive. Hard to find educational toys are always in stock and available. This store supports the growth and development of young minds. The knowledgeable staff are helpful and willing to find the product you need. more

Amazing stuff 11/11/2005

I consider Kaleidoscope a "dangerous" place to go - they have so much fun stuff to buy! It is directed towards educators, so the products all have some learning involved - but oh, what fun to learn like this! Crafts, raw materials of all sorts, kits, books, you name it, they somehow managed to squeeze it in. Note: Teachers love gift certificates from Kaleidoscope! more

Great toy store 8/9/2005

If you hate to shop at Toys R Us, you should visit this store. They sell amazing children's toys, many of them educational (although, the kids don't know that). They have a fabulous selection of toys that you won't find in other stores. The staff are great, they know their products and will spend time helping you find the perfect gift. more
