Great New Ice Cream Store 8/25/2008

I was a life long Baskin Robbins fan, but now I have a new number one! I think I tried over 40 flavors- what a blast. I was actually served by the owner- and he told me this is a Texas company with a headquarter right here in Austin- I like that too. My wife liked the No sugar Moose Tracks, while I love a double scoop of Tiramisu with Oreo Cookies N Cream. The Chocolate is super. If I am not at work or home, look for me here! Best Birthday Cake I've Tried! A whole bunch of flavors 8/24/2008

This place is a real find! It?s got that old fashioned festive atmosphere, friendly staff and there were three display cases of ice cream. The other day I had a scoop of what they call Cappuccino Supremo and another of Candy Factory. Great stuff. I went back tonight and had a scoop of Birthday cake and one of Trash Can. Yes, those are ice cream flavors. I love variety. Everything was great, but the Birthday Cake was out of this world - had this colorful blue cake icing ribbon running through it and colorful little flecks and little pieces of cake mixed in. The ice cream cakes look good to, but haven?t ordered one yet. Pros: The Ice Cream rocks Cons: Cedar Park is not very close to my home more

I went to the Kaleidoscoops in Cedar Park. The ice cream was very rich and creamy, I liked it better than Baskin Robins. Kaleidoscoops had 44 flavors plus shakes, smoothies and Hawaiian shaved ice. I had a hard time making up my mind! The staff was very friendly, a rarity nowadays. I'm told the shop is locally owned and operated. Go Texas! more
