Coming from Detroit, I'm spoiled rotten when it comes to fantastic Middle Eastern food. Normal people may love Kalamata's, but I was completely disappointed. After reading many glowing reviews, I was expecting so much more. The portions were small and expensive, you had to order your food at a counter (no atmosphere), and everything was served on plastic plates. The staff was friendly and the food quality was fine, but I consider this a ""scraping the bottom of the barrel"" experience if you're looking for good Middle Eastern food. Plus, it's in one of the most congested parts of town! Ugh!
Pros: Passable food
Cons: Part of town, Serve yourself, Portion sizes
