Kalaheo Cofee Company is nestled between a grocery store and music shop on a busy highway. It can be a little difficult to find parking, but once you're inside you'll probably be pleased. They have all sorts of baked goodies, like scones, specialty breads, and other desserts. My favorite is the "knuckle", which is like a funky shaped cinnammon roll. Very tasty!
They serve breakfast and lunch, and you'll be able to find something on their menu that will please your palate, whether you want a meaty sausage breakfast, a hearty vegetarian sandwich, or just a nice cup of Hawaiian coffee brewed to taste. One drawback is everything is pretty expensive. This is NOT somewhere to go if you have a budget!
Another drawback is they're in a tight space, and are a victim of their popularity! On a busy Saturday morning, it can be pretty hectic and tight inside. If you're smart, you'll choose the outside tables where it's quieter and away from the hustle and bustle of a booming business.
Pros: Great food, hot coffee, friendly staff
Cons: Expensive and crowded.
