The onion soup was bland with next to no taste. The eating space at the grill (for those sitting in front of the chef) was barely a plate deep and your legs got very warm from the heat from the grill. There was absolutely no display of tossing the spatula/fork around. The chef just dumped the food on the grill (and a good bit of oil) and cooked it. No playing around with the food at all. The portion sizes were very small. I ordered jumbo shrimp and these shrimp were the size of normal shrimp at every other place I have been to. In addition, the chef burnt the shrimp! I wondered why a few of the people ordered extra sides of fried rice, and after seeing how small mine was, I understood. It barely covered the spatula and was barely an inch thick at it's thickest point. The vegetables were soaked in oil and either over or under cooked. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The whole experience was rushed. From the moment we sat down to when we were handed our checks was around 30 minutes or so. Normally I would have complained to the manager about being hurried, but after that dining experience I was more than happy to leave. I am often in charge of selecting dining places for my company to have working lunches or after work dinners...I will never pick this place! I would rate it 0 out of 5 stars if possible. There are many other places in the Charlotte area that are much better. Oh, although the place is advertised as a Sushi Bar, they only serve Sushi there on Thursday and Friday. I would avoid this place if you can. Go to McDonald's or go hungry before you eat here.
Pros: The meal is over quickly so you can leave.
Cons: Rushed meal, below par food quality, burnt meal, small portion sizes.
