The Afghanistan restaurant, located in Sunnyvale CA on El Camino has wonderful food. The appetizers alone could make a meal as the portions are huge! If you order dinner, a lovely salad comes with each dinner and the lamb kabobs or shrimp kabobs are among my favorites. The menu is huge and there a lot of interesting dishes to choose from. Family-owned, you can always count on a good meal. It is located in a little shopping center and you have to keep your eyes open for it, but it is well worth it. more

Good place to eat 4/13/2006

This is a very good restaurant for kabobs. If you are vegetarian or not a meat person you should not go there. They are mainly specialise in meat. Kabobs, Meat dishes are very tasty. Their rice is also very tasty. Try their lamb chops and the meat curry. Price wise they are ok and the amount is also good. Lots of seating capacity. You don't have to wory about the parking space. more

This place is very popular for business lunches. They have great kabobs. Many different kind of meat dishes : kabobs, chops, and ribs. Ambience is very casual. Alcohol is served including a variety of wines. They have many side dishes. tables sit about 6 people. I have been going to this place for about 10 years and have been consistently impressed. My family likes this also. more
