I phoned the store and asked what the status was of the furniture we had consigned. A store employee said the furniture hadn't sold, and started to tell me about the store's 90 day consignment arrangement; I informed her, per their policy, that we were entitled, and were going to pick up the furniture the next day so as not to have the store reduce the items another 25% (per their policy). The staff person agreed that was the policy, and informed me I could come pick up the furniture anytime during their store hours. When I arrived the next day, the manager told me the furniture sold the previous evening at a 25% reduction. I asked how this could have occurred as I'd spoken to the staff person (who was there and confirmed said conversation), but they claimed that they had a right to do this per a clause in their consignment policy, and that they were ""in business to make money!"" I'm stunned by this business practice, and their utter disregard for their customers. INCREDIBLE?!
This won't let me publish w/out picking a star. Obviously, I give them no stars, but have to select in order to publish.
