I went to Kabal during the day, for a charity event. But even for that, the staff was snotty, and seemed put off by our presence. A pint of Pabst Blue Ribbon was $3.50, astronomical by local pricing standards. I will not return any time soon, and don't recommend that anyone else visit, either. more

Don't pass this by if you are the River Market. It isn't just a nightclub, it has a great menu and friendly staff. Be sure to check out the specials as you could be missing the best meal of the week. The pizza is a treat that you must try, a little different from usual and satisfying. If the rib tips are on the menu be sure to try them, you won't be sorry you did. A laid back , cool attitiude with good Jazz on Friday afternoons and a hip club for the night owls. more

Kabal is mistaken a lot as only a nightclub, but they have some of the best food in town. Great dinner specials, and they also have wine tastings with wine foods once a month. It doesn't cost too much to join into the wine tasting either. The drinks are more expensive than most places at $6.50 for premium, and 5.50 for well drinks, but the owners are great guys and the staff is awesome! more

See and Be seen. 8/2/2005

Kabal is the hottest deep house/techno dance club in Kansas City, and they even play hip-hop in the upstairs on friday nights. There is always something going on at Kabal, and you are sure to see the friendly owners working behind the bar. They also have wonderful food, so be sure to go before the night starts! more
