Saved my Bacon! 12/3/2009

My external hard drive died when I dropped it out of my truck and it went sliding down my driveway. Needless to say it did not work anymore. I was referred by another computer store in town after they could not get my drive to work again. They somehow got all my files and pictures back. Now my wife wont kill me:) But I am out $400.00 Pros: Best data recovery more

OMG! 10/30/2009

I though I had lost it all when I got the blue screen of death. My hard drive was just clicking and would not do anything any more. I took it to Best buy were I bought and they said my motherboard was bad and it was over $700 to fix it. I was to mad because I only bought it last year. I decided to get a 2nd opinion.... I took it to this place just down the street from my house. They said it was my hard drive and not the main board and something about the drive had bad ""heads"". N short they recovered most all my files for less then Best buy's incorrect diag and my laptop work's as good as new! Pros: Recovery of data only two blocks away Cons: no more

Safe at last! 10/18/2009

Well another case of ""I thought it was backed up"" I thought I lost all my company files when my laptop fell off my car as I drive away with it still on the roof. I took it to Best Buy and spent hundreds of dollars and they recovered almost nothing at all. A Best buy employee told me about this place Kfe Microsystems I could try. I was so upset at my self but I really needed my Quickbooks file more than anything. I paid the $75.00 to them to look at my drive. Two days later they called and said they have all my data and my quickbooks file. I dont know how they did it but they must be very very good at what they do! Thanks guys! Best Computer Store in Mid Valley 10/9/2009

I've always heard good things about this company, its locally owned and has been in business in for 28+yrs. Anyway I had broken laptop screen and was never told by our current computer services guys that it can be fixed. When i found out that i can, i asked our computer guys to give me quotes. I took them over 1 month to get to me so i took it here and it only cost $150 and done at 1 day. I have been coming here now for everything and I am always happy with their service. My Hp died a few weeks ago. I guess thats what I get for buying a cheap computer. I took it to this place and the repair cost was just not worth it. They showed me what computers they had and about there 7-year warranty. They were slightly more expensive than Best buy but when I went to Best buy and could not get a system with Windows XP I was put off. I also could not pass up the 7-year warranty at no extra cost plus they service it every year for free too! I think for the extra $100 or so I spent it was well worth it plus the system seems to run so much faster than I expected. I recommend this computer store over anything I have found so far! Pros: Location, best warranty in the world! Cons: I cant think of any more

Saved me! 8/23/2009

I lost all my pictures and company files when my almost new Dell died. Dell said I had a bad hard drive and they could do nothing for me. They said I could send it off to some company and it will cost me thousands. I was driving by this shop and saw there data recovery sign. I spent the $75.00 to have it looked at and the next day they called up and said they have all my data! It cost me less than $500.00 and I had everything in less than 3 days. I will be backing up every day from now on that is for sure. Thanks KFE Microsystems my wife would have divorced me if I lost out wedding pictures! Pros: Can actualy recover data! Cons: none that I know of more

Great Computer store Best in Salem 8/21/2009

I broke my laptop when I dropped it. I was told by Best buy and Keizer Computers that I need to buy a new laptop and my could not be fixed. I was on my way to work and I saw KFE. IN short they fixed my broken mainboard and my laptop works as good as new. It cost me less than $250 and that is way cheaper that a new laptop! Pros: Honest repair shop more

I just had a new computer built by this company and it is the best computer I have ever owned! 7 year warranty which is hard to believe which was the main reason I bought it. It performs so much faster than my new Dell that is only a year old. A pleasure to buy from these guys they really helped me get the right computer for my needs without trying to over sell me. My computer crashed and I could not get into windows any more. I took it to the computer store just down the street from my house because it was right there. Bits and pc's was the name and I paid over $100.00 and waited over 10 days and now my computer still does not boot! Then I found this computer store KFE Microsystems and in 3 days and $75.00 later my computer works! Not all computer places are the same that's for sure. The guys at Kfe are great and very friendly too! Thanks sooooo much! Pros: Best price & Best service & job done right! more

Fixed my laptop's broken screen 6/17/2009

My son broke my laptop screen when he got mad at it. I was told by two other stores including Best Buy that it was better to buy a new laptop and spend over $400.00 on getting it fixed. Kfe replaced my screen in just a few days and it was less than $300.00. I will refer them to anyone I know! Pros: Great location and expert tech's Cons: None that I know of more

Real Pro's at Data recovery! 6/2/2009

These guys were able to get all of my very important & unreplacable pictures:) Very fast recovery I thought only took about 3 days and cost me less than $400. I had tried a few other computer stores and they all recommended I goto KFE for my recovery. Thanks Guys! Pros: Easy to get to from anywhere in Salem Cons: None that I have found more

I had droppped my laptop and it did not turn on anymore. I took it to Bits and pc's, best buy, salem computer, american computer and pc club and no one could fix it. Then when I was at office depot buying a new laptop the guy said to try kfe microsystems. He said he had good luck with them being able to fix just about anything. I went in and righ off they were very helpful and explained everything in terms I could understand. About 5 days later they called me and said I had a bad hard drive and mother board. I needed the data from my drive and they were able to recover everything and replace my mainboard that week! It cost me $350.00 for the data recovery and $399.00 for my new mother board installed. Kinda spendy but I paid $2500.00 for my laptop just last year and it was way cheaper than a new one and I got all my data back. They were very helpful to me and I will recommend them to anyone. KFE Microsystems is the best computer store I have ever used. Fast service and super good repair skills. They even have a new girl that speaks spanish which was great! A Life saver! 9/10/2007

I run a small business outside of Salem. We had a total crash on our bookkeeping computer, and it was right before tax time!!! KFE was able to recover the data from our failed hard drive with their data recovery service. The owner was with me all the way, he kept me very informed of the costs and likely-hoods of retrieving the data from a broken hard drive and worked with me whenever I had trouble understanding what was going on. The sales and service staff were all very polite and understanding. I would recommend them to any small business for any computer related issues. They really are Life Savers! Knowledgeable, Helpful, Reliable 9/10/2007

I had 2 weeks till one of my finals was due when my laptop stopped working. KFE fixed it just in time to save the day, and talked to me like i was a human being, even though I can be a bit computer illiterate. I would take my laptop back there for any service or upgrades.
