Having read positive online reviews, I took a necklace in to get a clasp replaced. The next Monday he called to say he had received a clasp that would work well. I told him I would stop by after work on Thursday. The next day (Tuesday), I dropped by his office at 4:45 pm; although his posted hours stated that he was open until 5, the office was closed. The next day (Weds), I e-mailed him to set up an appointment that Friday to stop by after work, which he confirmed via e-mail. When I showed up at the agreed-upon time, the office was locked. When the person inside opened it, she was unaware that I had an appointment and stated that Kim was gone for the day. I told her that he had just lost business. Kim e-mailed later that evening to state that he had mis-entered the appointment, and was in Saturday until 1:00 if I wanted to stop by. With his seeming inability to keep consistent office hours or appointments, I was not going to entrust a necklace valued at $3,000.00 to him. He doesn't seem to want the business; I would oblige him by looking elsewhere.....so I did so. more

The experience I had working with Kim was great. My girlfriend and I had been looking for engagement rings for a while and we had to settle in one area or another. With Kim, we were able to get everything and more! He was willing to take time to sit with us several times to make sure that everything looked as amazing as we wished that it would be. I was floored by the beautiful selection of jewelery, loose gems and fine gift items like amazing polished fossils. I highly recommend this shop to anyone with discerning taste and appreciation of personal service (no high pressure sales here).
