I was on workers comp in new mexico for a severe back injury when I moved to NC. I found attorney Cambell in the phone book and afetr meeting him and being assured he would do everyting he could to help me I hired him. He didn't bother telling me at that time he legally was not allowed to work a NM Workers comp claim since he had not passed the bar in New Mexico. Over a year and a half he strung me along, not telling me he didn't know what he was doing, meanwhile asking for assistance in the case from the Defense Attorney with AIG (the insurance companies attorney). He tried to setttle out my case without my knowledge so he could get a quick check. When I had an Independent Medical Exam which controlled the fate of my case, his office never contacted me to let me know of the appointment, never called me the day of the missed appointment when they recieved a fax stating that my claim was cancelled completely due to a no show. They waited 11 days to call me and tell me my money was cut off on a Friday afternoon at 3:30 pm. Over the next two weeks they did nothing to restore my claim until I found a new attorney and fired him. Now his company is holding my legal file and refussing to contact me. This lawyer doesnt deserve even 1 star.
Cons: Lied to me and refuses to release my legal file
