I was very disappointed when I entered and was not greeted by staff. The store was not busy, the employees did appear to be stocking. I base my feelings when entering a store on how well the staff interacted and was I greeted upon entrance. I stood at the counter for a while appearing to be interested in something behind the counter and not once did a sales person say may I help you. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this place. more

I am not one to buy ""used"" clothing, but I stopped in this shop just to check it out, and now I am a dedicated customer. I wear plus sizes, and there is a very good selection. The clothing, shoes and accessories are in just-like-new condition, as the name of the shop indicates. They are clearly very picky about what they will take. The quality is incredible. I love getting a great deal on like-new items. Many items are, in fact, new with tags on them. The prices are great. I got a brand-new shearling jacket (Coldwater Creek) for only $38 and a pair of Talbots slacks for work for only $11. Most sweaters and pants are in the $12 range. They also have an eclectic selection of housewares. I bought a roasting pan for Thanksgiving for only $11. They also have books, CDs, DVDs and knick-knacks. It's really fun. My friends and I go there frequently, as they have new treasures every day. Fun! more

Went there with my 2 Girlfriends and we all love this place. There are so many incredible things there from clothing to shoes to handbags. We all got lucky there. With so many incredible things, it's really hard to walk out without something. The prices are very reasonable too. Love their markdowns too. We are going back really soon. We joined their mailing list too for their blowout sales (can't wait)!!! more

It was my first trip to Just Like New and it was great. My daughter and I found some amazing clothes for the fall at great prices. The best part about Micheal's was the fact that it is decorated so nicely. I felt like I was in a charming boutique. What often comes along with a boutique is high Prices, was i surprised:) GREAT PRICES!! ! I will shop here in years to come. more

The best consignment store for beautiful clothing and jewelry! Great prices..go to the mall and compare! The staff is friendly and on the ball..people don't like to hear their clothes are out of style. Go to Uptown with your out of style clothes, you might get 50 cents. By FAR the CLEANEST most ORGANIZED CONSIGNMENT store around. Have fun shopping there. They are open 7 days a week! Pros: Lots of name brands to choose from more

This place has become my one-stop-shopping. I have found everything I need here; shoes, handbags, fine jewelry, suits, dresses, etc. And they only carry the best (my favorites)? I?ve been to many consignment stores and none compare to Just Like New. They just simply have the best stuff. I consign here too which has been well worth my while. Although I must stress, they try to only take the best so don?t get offended when they turn down your favorite shirt that seen its day. . I am not what you would consider consignment savvy. I have wanted to however add to my designer collection of clothes without paying full price. I recently stumbled upon Just Like New the other day and I'm still glowing from my amazing Gucci, LV and Coach finds. Most of my purchases still had the original tags. I'm now telling all my friends. It's simply a must before making the trek to crowded department stores or putting up with snooty sales associates at the designer boutiques. I really think that the sales girl who assisted me made all the difference as a consignment newbie. She didn't rush me, established immediate credibility and had excellent suggestions. She wasn't pushy about it either - just showed me how to shop consignment. I look forward to going back! Pros: Great Shop more

The last time I was in just like new in vernon, i was treated so rudely by the staff I will never return. the few times I have previsously been in the store i witnessed a much older woman rudely telling people their clothes aren't ""fashionable"" I don't think anyone that age knows what's fashionable! Pros: none. Cons: very rude staff, way over priced merchandise. more

I was in this store today and couldn't believe what I witnessed. An elderly woman was collecting on her consignment account. When she asked for cash, the salesperson snapped at her and said, ""We don't give out cash. We only do checks."" more

Staff has always been friendly. If you want to shop at a store that has the same look and feel as Tj Max and Xmas go to Uptown. If you want to shop at a store that even looks like a designer shop, Shop AT Just Like New. I'm surprised at the designer names I see And the Prices on them. Its like, did they miss-price this item or am I dreaming!!! Do yourself a favor GO TO JUST LIKE NEW!! Cons: Not one in every town more

I had been doing business for awhile with not the most satisfying experiences. Clothes were judged personally by the not so fashionable staff. When I brought some of my kids clothes in I was told ""I know how old your kids are and these are older than 2 years"". I guess little girls don't wear pink dresses anymore and boys don't wear t-shirts with trucks on them. (My kids are 5 and 3 by the way - really old and outdated!) I have also seen the same items at the same time in TJ Maxx and X-Mass Tree Shops AT THE SAME TIME for less money than they were charging! ???? What did it for me though is when they refused to pay me my money because ""it cost them too much to cut the check"". Not my problem. Try Uptown Consignments in South Windsor - so much more professional and you get alot more for your items. Will never go to Just Like New again, not even to shop there overpriced, unwanted items.
