Just Like Hm Doggie Hotel

I took my dog in for Doggie day care orientation and was very impressed! The staff was very helpful and friendly. They where patient as I asked MANY questions about their facility and the options they provide. I was the most impressed that they allowed me to drop my dog off a half hour before the actual Doggie day care time starts. Since I work so early, they allowed me to do! I loved the video cameras and that I have a chance to see my dog in action during the day. My golden doodle LOVED every minute and had a smile on her face when I picked her up. She slept for almost two days after her Doggie day care visit! I am also impressed that they do NOT crate any of the dogs! This includes over weekend stays as well. The allow the dogs to be as natural as possible. I definitely recommend this boarding/day care facility! The staff has a HUGE passion for dogs and their owners! more

LOVED IT! I was very skeptical as I learned where it was and saw the outside of the house. I am not sure if it was because the house just seemed old or it was the location, but it bothered me. I told myself stop being so judge mental and go inside and check it out. I am so grateful I did, it would have been a huge mistake if I didn't. They walked me through and gave me a tour. I watched a lady grooming and bathing one of the dogs as I later came to find out it was one of the owners Tracy. She then took the time to ease my concerns and change my mind. As she meet my dogs, she got down on their level as she talked to them. After this interaction and walk through I was sold on my dogs new home for the week. When I dropped them off I had the opportunity to meet Pam, the other owner. For nearly 2 years I've been taking my beagles to Just Like Home and the owner, Pam's, previous in-home daycare and overnight dog sitting service. Pam's personal, and personalized, attention caring for my and her other clients' four-legged family members became so popular that she needed to expand to a larger operation: Just Like Home. Thankfully, the personal attention she provides her daily and overnight furry visitors has not faded with Pam's move to her new larger operation. It truly is "Just Like Home", located inside a large house complete with a real living room just for her "guests", LOTS of room outside with separate play areas appropriate for size and/or activity level, a large "cool down" building in the middle of the backyard for Las Vegas' hot summer days, and complete sleeping quarters for her overnight guests. Just Like Home also has a very nice customized grooming room with trained, skilled (and caring) grooming staff. Unlike other daycare and boarding facilities I've used in the past, Pam will actually show her prospective clients the whole operation - nothing is hidden behind walls. In fact, Just Like Home has video cameras set up throughout the home and outside play areas, which I understand will soon be available for continuous client viewing on Just Like Home's website. Another great "feature" ensuring the safety of our four-legged friends: there is always somebody present at Just Like Home, 24/7; I can feel comfortable knowing my beagles are never left alone. Just Like Home also offers all-day Sunday hours - at no additional cost! I highly recommend Just Like Home to anybody interested in letting their four-legged kids have a day of interactively play with their friends, or a safe, caring environment for overnight or extended stays. more

Good: Loved the quality service and home environment offerred to my beloved dog, Jake.. Bad: Not a thing! There wasn't a single error or mishap during the entire experience.. Improvements: The facility boasts of so many dog friendly activities I can't imagine any improvements except maybe a pool for when it gets super hot.. Great customer service, lots of space indoor and outdoor for my dog to play, 24 hour Care 7 days a week. I liked how they worked with socializing my dog with other dogs. My dog had his own couch, tv, toys. I loved the grooming my dog turned out great. more
