I just moved to Sarasota from South Florida and I was really nervous about finding a new stylist. I was so happy to find my way to Colette and the chic artsy D. Cole Hair Salon. Colette is amazing! She took the time to listen to what I wanted and she gave me the best style and color I have ever had! D. Cole is located right downtown at 1821 Morill Street, 941-954-2416. Treat yourself! 5/29/2007

Nice aromatherapy at the front door, every staff are friendly, and the place is clean. No problem on parking even its located in middle of downtown Sarasota. Highly recommended. Pros: Ambience, Staff, Parking, product, price more

comfortable salon 4/24/2007

Cami Bryant is really good with your toes and nails. When she paints my nails, the paint stays on forever. That never happens since I am a waitress and my hands are always in water. \r Second, I got my hair done with Journey and she is the best I have found in Florida! She has recently moved to D. Cole Hair design downtown Sarasota. \r Kubota Salon has a great feel to it, I am so glad I found them on city search! Pros: everything Cons: could be a little cleaner more

Detail, quality, and professional 4/5/2007

Thanks for recommendation, I moved from NY about 3 month ago, and was looking for a beauty salon/ spa. Kubota is great... I just felt very comfortable as soon as I open the door. Technicians are friendly and professional. I had a Massage by Rose, and Hair cut by Journee. They were both fantastic and I'm looking forward to see them again for more treatment also. JOURNEY IS THE BEST SYLIST IS SARASOTA 3/20/2007

I just moved to Sarasota a year ago from L.A. where the way you look is important all the time. I have not found anyone who knows how to cut and color my hair like I am used to! Until I tried Journey at Kubota Day Spa! She was a great listener and created the look I wanted to a T! Plus, what a bonus..she is a celebrity stylist! If your lucky to get an appointment with Journey..I would never leave her! She is fabulous. more

Good customer service, very nice people! Hair cutting needs a little work though... 9/22/2006

I agree with the other reviewers, the people are really sweet and the customer service is great. The only area where I would reccomend improvement is the actual hair cutting itself. I had Journie and she is super, what would make her even better is to be more technical and precise with hair cutting. It wasn't a huge deal but I noticed that my hair was uneven and there wasn't a whole lot of time spent that day in making sure that the back was even and the sides. I will go back to Journie but if this could be taken into consideration, it will make her an even better stylist than she is already as she has a very promising future! Pros: Really nice people, good customer service Cons: Hair cutting needs to be more accurate and precise more

Personal Touch 8/22/2006

I got highlights and cut, Massage, and pedicure done. Journee, hair stylist is excellent hair stylist. I loved Swedish Massage from Norma. Pedicure was wonderful, and all the people there seems to have great personality, and I had a good visit. Great recommendation! 10/6/2005

I called for a hair appointment, and found out the hairstylist who was recommended below was no longer with them. They recommended Nicole, and she was great! I paid $30 for haircut and color was $40 She was so sweet and good! I will go back there for different services next time! Pros: Inexpensive, Nice, Good Location more

My new salon 9/29/2005

The first time when I called there I had a good feeling. The receptionist was nice and smooth, and she accomodated me fast. I had a Fills, Facial(amazing!), and massage. All the staff was skilled, very nice and very caring! I have been to many many salons, and this place is my favorite one now. See you in 2 weeks!! Just amaizing... I received a gift certificate from my husband as a birthday gift. It was a half day package. ""My Special Holiday"", just the way sounds like... It was my special day! Thanks to the City Search too since my husband found this place from you guys... My favorite was the facial treatment. I have never had that much of close care on my face! Thanks!!!
