Just Drains

I hired Just Drains to do some plumbing at my house two weeks ago and paid them almost $3000. Today, I went in my basement and found water on the floor. I called their office and told them what was going on and they sent out one of the guys who did the work (Kyle). He rudely told me that if he found any tampons in the drain, I would owe him $178. I told him that was impossible. Totally impossible! He later called me to come outside and kicked two dirty feminine products at me with his boot. I told him that they were just here less than two weeks ago and maybe it was there before. He told me ""maybe it was your daughter"" this is not how you talk to paying customers, or any customer. The comments that came out of his mouth after that was shocking to me...he asked me ""Why did you even call us anyway"" Huh?? Believe me, I wish I hadn't. The other comments area inappropriate for me to type on here but I am totally offended and insulted. They were so nice before I paid them. I called the office and asked for someone over him to please call me back. The owner eventually called me back. He was unapologetic for his technician's behavior and kept telling me to calm down or he was going to hang up and see me in Court. He said he was going to do some ""research"" and call me back. I can't believe these people. I'm mad at my self for not going with my first instinct to go with another company. This company is a joke! The rudest company I have dealt with in a very long time. NEVER AGAIN!! more

The most incompetent, rude and un-professional company I have ever dealt with in 23 years of property management. First guy they send out tries to clear drain for maybe 15 minutes, gives up and says he needs to call his supervisor. Supervisor shows up, acts like we are retards, is as rude as they come. He tries for no more than 5 minutes, says the pipe is broke and walks off the job. It's a high rise buddy...we can see all the pipes!! His response, "" You have no clue what your talking about, there was dirt on the end of my cable, which he would not show us, call someone else if you want a second opinion!"" Well we did, Roto-Rooter. Bill was prompt, courteous, and professional, had the proper equipment and knowledge. 30 minutes later, line snaked, cleared, cleaned up after himself. DO NOT USE JUST DRAINS. You might be saying, this is just a advertisement for Roto-Rooter. I assure you it is not, just a true review to save your time and money and call anyone else other than Just Drains!!! more

The manager Debbie is extremely rude and unprofessional. She has hung up on me numerous time while trying to describe our issues. She has mocked my employees and refused to assist our company. I will not utilize this company specifically because of her service. I would not recommend Just Drains until they employ a new manager more

Horrible!!! They charged $181.00 just to come out and tell me that they could only clear the main line clog for an additional $450.00. Only call them if you feel like wasting time and money. more

I had an emergency situation with water flowing from the toilet into the basement. The main line was plugged up and water could not get out of the house. The Sump pump would recycle the water from the basement, to the toilet, on the main level floor, then back to the basement. Called Just Drains, thoroughly explained the situation then asked them to come out and unplug the mainline. I paid them upfront on my CC to be sure to get someone out. The Plumber Frank C. came out to look at the problem. Frank quickly decided he could not fix the problem and he left. I had to call out another company to help. Called the manager Leon and asked him can I have a refund from the non-service call. We had a conversation about the situation which led to Leon hanging up on me and saying he did not want to deal with me. more

First of all it should be known that I renovate properties and am not a novice. Based on the advice of my plumber, I called to have a kitchen drain unclogged. Girl setting up appointment gave me a range of $126-$132 for a kitchen drain. This seemed high but I needed it done. When technician arrived I showed him the kitchen sink but told him it may be easier for him in the basement as the clean outs were more easily accessible. It took him ten minutes to bring in equipment, clean drain and be back in with bill. The bill was for $183. I explained that I was told less and he wouldn't budge. I called office and was told it is automatically that price if they go into a basement. Never was told that! Complained to the owner as did my plumber saying neither of us would ever use them again. Still no adjustment. Very bad experience with Just Drains! more

I called Just Drains after they were recommended by a plumber friend. I had a slow moving kitchen drain and had called Eagle Drains to come and unclog it. A young man from that company dumped chemicals into my drain (!!) causing it to clog completely. He then asked to borrow my plunger and my bucket and proceeded to disassemble my drain pipe without removing any of the items in the cabinet beneath the sink. He flooded the cabinet with (now chemical filled) water, ruining some items. He reassembled the drain pipe and left it leaking and ignored me when I pointed this out. He then borrowed my ladder and climbed on the roof to try and snake the drain through the vent pipe. When this didn't work he said ""I don't know what to tell you"" and he left. I called Just Drains and Kyle arrived within the hour. He had everything fixed and in excellent working order in less than 20 minutes. When I complained about the other company out of frustration, he remained professional and didn't say anything bad about them. He also gave me advice about how to maintain my sewer drain pipe which has roots growing in it. Excellent company - absolutely recommend them! more
