I wish I could give this 1/2 star & not a full one. JC is a franchise and their only motive it seems is to make a profit. They play favorites, every year it's always the same kids who make company.You don't have to be the best dancer just as long as your parents are paying for three or more classes.So you basically have to pay to play.There are other dance studios on LI do your research.JC brags about the fact that the owners are former Rockettes. Who cares?Just teach my child what she needs to know to get ahead. My child is at a newer school that's way more advanced. Now JC's calling us everyday! No thank you, we do not miss it one bit. ok i have been going to june claire for 10 years now and i absolutely love it. i actually go to a different studio, but its really all the same. i am in 7 numbers and its truely amazing how everything comes out. i am a pround member of juniors and libt. i love the teachers... and the staff is very nice.the recitals are very crazy, but the outcome of the show is really quite amazing. just like a broadway show. if you or your child wants to persue a carreer in dancing, i highly sujdest june claire. Pros: excellent instruction, nice teachers,amazing shows. Cons: expensive. more

ok me and my cousins want to do dance together but we live to far away and juneclaire is the only way we can do dance together . but that other comment says its the worst dance school ever but the other comment says its the best school ever who should i believe!!!!!!!!!???????? Pros: HELP more

This is the best dance studio ever and who ever wrote that other review was wrong. I go to June Claire and it is the best dance experience you can ever get. Also you do not have to write in the journal at the end of the year. Seats are 28.00 at the dance recital yes but it is worth every penny. This dance recital is compared to some broadway shows. The teachers are so nice. They care about the kids alot. Their like one of your friends. One of the teachers is a Rockette. They are profesional there but they just want you to have fun. If you want your kids to get a good dancing experience send them to June Claire Dancing Center. It is in the Village of the Branch Shopping Center. Kids have to be potty trained though! Pros: It is the best dancing studio ever! more

The worst place to send your child to Dance. They sell dance recital tickets $28.00 a seat and you can start waiting on line to buy tickets for you to see your child starting at 6:00am on a Friday and they go on sale Saturday afternoon!! The dance instruction is ok but not extraordinary. They are more concerned about the revenue then the children. Simply pathetic!!! You can put your childs picture in their journal which you have to buy and ads are put in at a high rate $90.00 for a quarter page, $150.00 for a half page and $200.00 for a full page in black in white of course. It's a poorly run school, it's focus is mainly on their company students that they hand select and have to be in a minimun of three classes in addition to the company classes their in. Your more of a number there not a person. Pros: It's been around for over 50 years so the recital Cons: run like a mill, not personable, children aren't a priority more
