I was excited to have my son's birthday at Jumpzone. I was looking forward to not having to do too much prep myself and to be able to relax and let my son and his guests (all under 5) enjoy themselves. I had been to parties at other inflatable places and enjoyed them, but thought the theme at Jumpzone was unique and different. I liked how at other inflatable places it is a private party for you and your guests, and this was a concern of mine from the beginning, but the owner seemed extremely kind, and informed me that the place was well managed, and there was even a toddler area for kids under two. Well, you could not pay me to have another party there or even re-visit again. The owner informed me that on Saturdays the space was available for parties only. The rooms and inflatables are on a rotation for parties but there are never more than 45 people in the room at once. When we arrived the place was chaos and extremely crowded. There was no where for my guests to hang their coats or put their shoes. Our room was not ready yet so we had nowhere to put the gifts as well. I asked one of the girls at the front desk what was going on and she told me that they let people in for open play as well. This annoyed me because the whole reason I payed extra $ to have the party on a Saturday was to avoid crowds and ""open play"" Had I known this from the beginning, I would have had the party on a weekday and paid a lot less. I also read on the website that they try to keep the party ages similar. Well, there were lots of older kids running around, up, down, and all over the place. Three of my guests were knocked down, one of which needed ice for her head. The older and bigger kids were going down slides two at a time, head first, and barreling through the inflatables. The so called ""supervisors"" were teenagers sitting at each inflatable. Almost half of them were texting on their cell phones paying NO attention to anything that was happening. The TWO year old toddler zone was bombarded with kids over 5 again knocking my one and two year old guests over. I went to the desk and the manager said he would send someone over to make sure the kids in that area were under 5. But, this never happened. I am actually sick to my stomach that I paid over $400 for a party that turned out to be such a disaster. I spent the entire time worrying about all of the guests getting injured at the party and could see the stress on most of the young parents faces. The ONLY positive thing I could say is that the young girl who hosted our party was absolutely amazing. So, if you are considering having a party here, seriously not worth it.
Pros: Excellent party host
Cons: Too many to list, see details
