The only Chinese buffet we go to in North Raleigh 1/20/2011

When I take my family of five out for Chinese, we only go to buffets. We tried several in the North Raleigh area before finding Jumbo, and now it's the only one we go to. The food is usually good quality, and the price is cheaper than any other in the area. If you're a family on a tight budget like us, this Chinese buffet is the best value for the money. Reading some of the negative reviews here, I wonder if those people went to the same place. We've never had any problem with the cleanliness, service, or quality of food at Jumbo. more

No good 12/16/2010

I usually order food to go, and I usually get General Tso Chicken. A couple of times that I have gotten, it was dry and once I got Sesame Chicken instead of General Tso Chicken. I decided to try something else, and ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan. After I brought it back to work, I realized that the chicken was not cooked thoroughly, it was still raw inside. Fast Delivery. Egg Rolls tasted as if they were made yesterday, reheated in deep fryer with old oil. Had to put napkin arould egg roll to speeze out extra oil. Crab Rangoon is really good if fresh, otherwise it is soggy and greasy as well. Small container of rice sent with main entree was cool and sticky - sliced with a knife and poured entree over rice to make it eatable. Pros: Fast Service Cons: Poor quality food more

Ehhh, could be worse 5/27/2003

Your typical chinese buffet, gaudy neon lights, looks like it used to be something else. Food wasn't so great, neither was the price- wasn't worth going to a second time in my opinion but I wasn't all that upset over having gone once. Pros: Good Service, Medium Priced Cons: Not so great food, Yick Ambience more
