I was a little unsure about trying this salon. There where so many good reviews and a few poor ones. I took a chance and gave it a shot, what did I have to loose (just hair). I...

Worst

I went to Juliana's after reading all the reviews...but I wasn't impressed. I had to get my hair re-cut at a different salon. I didn't get what I asked for... and the stylist wasn...

I found this salon on city search and gave it a try, let me tell you I was not disappointed. They delivered all they said they would and more. I had color done by Lynelle based on the recommendations I read and she was fabulous. She also gave me a great haircut and styled my hair beautifully. As an added bonus I managed to have a manicure and lip wax while my color processed. I have never had so many compliments on my hair. Check it out!!! Pros: everything! more

Family Place! 6/12/2006

I've been going to Juliana's for a few years and love it. My mother has been going to the Witche's Hut in Reading to. The best thing is they teamed up together at Juliana's. Donna does my mom, Juliana does myself, Megan does my daughters and Mary Kate does my son's hair. How great is that! I'm proud to say that I go to this salon it's the best salon around. more

The right stuff! 6/5/2006

This salon is so great!! After reading all the recommendations I needed to try it. Juliana was such a different hairdresser. She took time, talked about me and my life before she even touched my hair. Then the hair cut was right on Im going to try foils for the first time next month!!!! The Best Massage I've ever had!!!!! 5/11/2006

I went to see Maria last week and She gave me the best massage I've ever had. She really helped me feel nice and relaxed - Just what I needed it!!! She knew exactly where I had all my tension, I also had the best night sleep after that massage. I highly Recomend her!!! I am Getting my mom a Gift Certificate for a massage!!! more

LOVE THIS SALON! 4/26/2006

As most of you I found this salon on citysearch and as all of you I loved it. Juliana was the stylist I had for a color fix. I did my own color and it wasn't pretty. Juliana never made me feel uncomfortable and it didn't take all day to fix. It is by far the best color I've ever had and the condition of my hair is great. I never really liked Paul Mitchell but she sent me home with some and I really like it!!! They are very personable and a great price too. Pros: they know thier stuff Cons: ??? more

i have recently moved to the area and i was having so much trouble finding a hair salon. i found julianas on city search and decided to try it out since they had so many great reviews. i was very impressed by how well i was taken care of and how well my color came out. marykate did such a nice job. my hair has never looked so shiny before and it actually feels healthier. im so glad i found julianas salon and thankx so much to marykate for making my color look so beautiful! more

Value = ""Extremely"" recommended! 4/17/2006

I needed a new salon, tried Juliana's based on the recommendations from Citysearch & definitely thought the glowing praise was well deserved. I was very happy with the color & cut but extremely impressed with the price! Add me to the list of people who love the place. I think they do only use Paul Mitchell - if you like another brand you might have to switch - but they do it well. Thanks to Lynelle for helping me not miss my old place! Pros: great prices, friendly, listen to the client Cons: can't think of one more

Lynelle made my wedding perfect! 3/15/2006

Lynelle did my wedding hair. She did a fabulous job. My hair is heavy, bone straight, & very stubborn. I wanted curls, & height. Lynelle worked wonders. Hair-dos in the past have flopped & gone flat within a couple of hours. I was amazed how well my wedding hair do stayed in & look faboulus the entire night.I am from out of town.I looked online for a place that I could have all services for myself and bridal party. I was so stressed but the staff there was so relaxed, it calmed me. The day of my wedding I felt like a princess & so did all of my friends and family who also had hair, make-up. The only drawback is that I dont have Lynelle to do my hair for me every morning!. I highly recommend this salon to a bride to be. Lynelle is a fabolus stylist. Wonderful Place! 3/8/2006

This was a great salon. I read all the recommendations and figured I would try the salon. I scheduled an appointment for a haircut, manicure and facial. I needed to treat myself since I stay at home with four kids!!! I was exactly like it says FRIENDLY. I loved the haircut that Lynelle gave me and she was very sweet. Maria did a nice relaxing facial and Holly was the nail lady. I looked and felt like a million bucks. Who wants to go home after that so I went shoping. Megan is Fabulous!! 3/4/2006

i've never been able to stick with one single hairdresser, but ever since i had my experience with MEGAN at juliana's salon I am addicted!! I am constantly getting compliments on my hair in the mall and at restaraunts. Every month when i go back i have to pick up more of her buisness cards to hand out. I always feel very confident sitting in her chair and saying ""do what you want i trust you""!!! My hair is always a wonderful new and shiny color!! Everyone in the salon is wonderful, excpecially Angela she is soooo helpful and not to mention hysterical!! I cant wiat for my next appointment!! Hope to see you all there!!! One Stop Service 2/22/2006

I just found this salon at weddingcreators.com, wedding school 101, show at Jordans in Reading. Juliana was so helpfull at the show and seamed very nice that I went for a trial a few days ago. The salon is beautiful and has a great feel. She took time with me and did a fabulous job on my hair and make-up. I booked my wedding with them in May, found a new hair salon and stylist! The best part is they travel for weddings too! If your getting married this is the place to go they truely make you feel special. Pros: specialty weddings Cons: parking more

Good Recommendation. I moved from out of state and had no idea where to go for a beauty salon. Jennifer was the stylist I got and she was wonderful. she took so much time with me and really made me feel comfortable. The haircut was great and easy to do. She guided me to some new color looks for next time. It just feels like my place. You all hit it right great hairdressers and friendly! Pros: listeners! more

I wasn't impressed! 1/26/2006

I went to Juliana's after reading all the reviews...but I wasn't impressed. I had to get my hair re-cut at a different salon. I didn't get what I asked for... and the stylist wasn't very friendly. Pros: Price Cons: Stylist, Haircut more

The first time I went to the salon I wasn't sure if I would like it. I'm used to going in town and this was different. I have to say the quallity of work was as good if not better then Boston. The salon has a nice feeling about it and they are a very warm group of people. I felt like I had been going there for years and I'm sure I will be now! Pros: quality work Cons: parking more

I left this salon over the summer to follow one of the girls who used to work there and what a mistake. My hair still came out great but I missed the salon. Angela who works the desk is the best ! All the girls make you feel right at home and Juliana does a fantastic job on my hair also. They told me about this site and I had to check it out and I definately recommend it too! Thank you for this recommendation. I went to check out the salon and figured I would try if they had time. Of course I got the ""new girl"" and we all know what happens. This time was different, she did a wounderful job and was very pleasent to talk to. She gave me lots of tips to working with my hair and I love the Paul Mitchell products she recommended. her name was Lynelle. Good luck and go for the new girl! Pros: friendly more
