Always a wonderful experience at Julian Hans; tried something new: A Brazilian Blow-out ... WOW-WEE! & Two thumbs up from my friends and family!! During the process (by Luis - who is wonderful ! - his own sister allows him to do this treatment to her hair) ... it was a great experience; relaxing... then as he continued and we saw how my hair was reacting - it was like a hair transplant ... it was so transforming. I am a newer customer. I just had my hair colored for the second time and I cannot say enough good things about this Salon. I have been salon hopping for years. Every time I go to a new salon, they do a great job with the color and highlights on the first visit then it fades and my brunette hair looks brassy and washed out. I decided to try Julian Hans based on the reviews on this site and Yelp and the praise is well deserved. Julian Hans uses the Redken system and guarantees its work as long as you use Redken products ( which are very reasonably priced and cost much less than most salon products). This system works. My hair is healthier then ever and is holding its color. The glazing used is unbelievable. I was skeptical at first and figured I was buying products that were no better than those I was already using. Not the case. After switching to the Redken products ( from Enjoy and Kerastace), my hair is much healthier. I could not be more pleased. I recommend following the entire system, products and all. I go to Saverio. He is very professional and makes sure his clients are happy before leaving the salon. The entire staff is very pleasant. more

I have been going to Julian Hans Salon for over three years and will never find a better hair salon and hair stylist. I always look forward to my 6 to 8 week visit with Nathan Adams who I believe is the best hair stylist in Orange County. I Love all the products that Nathan recommends and my hair has been the healthiest it's ever been! The owners, Savario and Rosemary, and all the staff are very friendly and always make you feel at home and taken care of. Thanks to you all, but especially Nathan=) more

My first experience with Julian Hans Salon was really wonderful. I was definately impressed! The staff was extremely friendly and the facility was immaculate. Michala was the gal that cut and styled my hair and she did an amazing job! I love my new cut. It's hard for me to find a salon that can manage my hair well. My hair is very long and thick and can be overwhelming for some. Michaela took charge and cut my hair with precise layers, paying great attention to exactly what I wanted and she provided me with my best cut yet! She also equipped me with the products and info that I needed to help revive my dry hair. Thanks Michaela and all at Julian Hans Salon! I had a great experience and will definately be back. more

just went to julian hans for the first time last weekend after bouncing around between places for awhile, and am now seriously be considering monagamy with chez hans (which is saying a lot for a hair commintment-phobe!). wonderfully warm and relaxing atmosphere (most amazing shampoo experience of my life!) full of real artists at work. my particular artist-in-residence was michaela : ) she was responsible for giving me my warm weather 'do. i told her, "i trust you, just make it awesome," and let her just do her thing-- and boy did she deliver! it is fantastic! short, layered, wash-and-wear, but also straightenable. so many compliments : ) AND i picked up a bottle of redkin Wool Shake, which, forgetting the rather odd name, is an amazing product! adds textured on dry straight hair, AND enhances curls when i use it wet. plus, i also caught a glimpse of severio at the station next to us putting the finishing touches on the most beautiful red colour job i think i've ever seen. so that was pretty awesome : ) A++! more

I have tried different salons trying to get a new look but came out each time with the same tired look. I would go in with shampooed hair combed straight back so that the stylist would have no preconceived idea about my style. I always came out with the same boring look. Diana was magic. She was truly concerned about the lack of protein in my hair and offered suggestions to correct the problem. Then like magic, snip, snip, snip, and I came out with the best cut I've had in years! I have received so many compliments on my new style. I even was told I look "10 years younger"!! Who doesn't want to hear that!!!! I was made to feel very much at home the moment I walked through the door. Beverages were offered right away and in just moments Diana was there to greet me. We first chatted about what I liked and didn't like about my hair. Next was a wonderful massage shampoo which prepared me for watching Diana let loose with her creative juices. Then, ta da, I'm a new creation. Happy day! I have been in other upscale salons and the atmosphere was stiff and unfriendly. Not so at Julian Hans. Thank you for a pleasant experience and thank you Diana for a great new look. Can't wait to see you again. more

So Happy to have found such an Amazing Stylist (Darcy) and Beautiful salon. Julian Hans Salon made me feel like VIP. The friendly, caring staff was very welcoming :) Darcy my Stylist did a Great job at Re-Layering my hair, while keeping the length. I am very Pleased with the Beautiful Results! I just had my hair style updated at the Julian Hans Salon located in the Laguna Hills Mall. Darcy was the stylist and she did an excellent job. I cannot say enough good things about my time spent there. Darcy is very personable and listens to what you have to say. She was a thorough professional, and the salon has a warmth and cordial feel to it. This salon is for all ages. They are up-to-date on the latest looks and styles, and for you over-40 ladies they are perfect to go to if you want to up-date your look. more

My sister knew the right place to take me for a great new haircut! She shared her hairdresser "Saverio", and he did a fabulous cut and style. You know it's a great cut, when it falls in place no matter how you style it! Even when I just let it dry natural, it still looks great! Thank you for my great new look! I havent cut my hair except for the usual trim in 8 years and my hair was to my elbows. It was just long, boring, and I was tired of dealing with it while chasing after a 19 month old! So I went in, not really knowing what I wanted, and Saverio just went at it! I put my full trust in him and my hair is amazing! He took off 10 inches or so, the shortest Ive had it since high school and I couldnt love it more. I will be going back to that salon for as long as I live in Orange County. I couldnt be more excited. I feel like a new mom :) Thanks a million times over! more

I am hairstylist , who starting in the industry working at Julian Hans.Saverio trains his stylist one on one threw the most intense training I have ever seen.I learned more in one day with him than a year in another salon.His stylists know what they are doing , trust me I know.There cutting and color is more advanced than any salon I have seen.I have been in many salons since working for them, and by far was it the best experience working for them.They are a family and care about there employees and clients.Your hair comes first its all about the health.Trust your stylist they know what they are saying. When I told other salons the training Saverio took me threw and the stuff I learned ,they would look at me shocked. Always a great experience at the Julian Hans Salon. Saverio is an outstanding stylist. I have tried several salons and many stylist in the past and often left feeling unsatisfied. It is clear that Saverio is passionate about hair. He is very knowledgeable and is sure to educate each and everyone of his clients. When I first went to Saverio my hair was damaged and unhealthy. For the past 6 weeks I have used the products that Saverio suggested and my hair is shiny and smooth! I finally understand hair and what makes it look outstanding! I couldn't be happier. The prices are great and you get the biggest bang for your buck! After seeing the difference in my hair, my sister has decided to drive over an hour to see Saverio! I know she will not be sorry. Moreover, the rest of the staff is amazing. They work as a team to provide outstanding customer service. Never are you thirsty or "magazineless" under the dryer. I live in L.A. and after 7 years here, after trying all kinds of salons (even the supposed "best" celebrity salons in Beverly Hills) and my hair was not looking good but in fact quite fried and unflattering, a friend of mine recommended this salon and specifically-NATHAN! I finally decided to make the trip down and WOW! It was soooo worth it! He is a dream hairstylist---he always strives for absolute perfection and seriously cares for every inch of my hair as if I MUST look my best at all times and you can tell that it is sincerely very important to him that I look the best that I possibly could (every appt is like your wedding day with Nathan)!!! (And of course that's why my friend adored him too!) He also is really honest about what will look best on me with such a caring heart that when you are under his care you feel like he is getting you ready for the red carpet even if you're just rushing in on your day off!!! He is very knowledgeable about every aspect of hair, the health of it, how to make it the best longer and how to practically fit your dream hair into your lifestyle (e.g. he knows I'm a career woman and can't spend hours on treatments at home, so he makes it simple and still loves me if I mess up!)....When I walked in there with my fried hair, he gave me really great lessons on how to take better care of it AND when my husband called me on my cell and joked that maybe I could use some help on taking care of my hair, when I asked Nathan to reassure my hubby I'm in good hands now, Nathan even talked to my husband about what I could do to take care of it and help me look my best! On my first visit there, my girlfriend who referred me met me there and I'm telling you---we were both amazed--he transformed my hair and I felt like a new person! Seriously girls (and gents!), he is AMAZING and run, don't walk to see him and make him your hairstylist NOW--you won't regret it!!! Oh and P.S., the staff there helping out are all so kind and genuine and you feel like family there...it's always a pleasant experience that makes it a great trip from L.A.---totally worth it ladies!!! more
