I have been coming to Julian Hans salon for over 12 years now. After I moved out of Orange County to Whittier over 10 years ago, I tried some other reputable salons closer to home....my conclusion was that no one could duplicate the service I received at Julian Hans. Saverio (co-owner with wife Rosemary) is my colorist/stylist and he does an amazing job!!! I also know the other stylists and would trust each and every one of them to do my hair. I've been going to Julian Hans for five years and have never been happier. Even after I moved to Long Beach, I continue to drive to Orange County because I don't trust anyone else to color or cut my hair. Saverio does an outstanding job with the color and knows just how to cut my fine, short hair. Nazzi also does a great job with my hair (and my eyebrows). Roxanne, Nathan, Louis and others have cut my daughter's hair and always do a wonderful job. The entire staff is friendly and very accommodating. I've had my hair done at various salons. My hair is long and thick and likes to show gray hairs. Brittany matched the perfect color and took away all my gray. My hair looks great. She was very professional in her skills and the customer service at the salon has always been upscale. more

Diana has been cutting my hair for about 8 months now. She is a very talented stylist and listens carefully to you before cutting one single hair. Then she cuts your hair just the way you asked. My hair is not easy to work with, but she consistently gives me a cut I am happy with. I leave the salon looking great. All this plus such a warm and sweet personality. Everyone there is very nice and welcoming. I am served coffee or some sort of beverage while I wait and my hair is cut. All the hair stylists are very well trained and inform me on new hair products. They show me what was used to wash and style my hair as well as how to use the products. Ziba is my stylist! I have been seeing Ziba for over 7 years! Every female in my family goes to Ziba, all my cousins, aunts, mom and GRANDMA!! I am 19 years old and I came in to Ziba with unruly curly hair that I hated! I have never been happier! She treats, colors, cuts, and styles my hair and is always available for consultation, whenever I need her! I live in the San Fernando Valley and drive to Orange County every 8 weeks to see her. When I go to Julian Hans Salon I really feel like i have come Home. Everyone knows my name and greets me as i walk through the doors. My hair has never looked better. I went here on a whim, I have another stylist (Tony and Guy) I usually go to and i regret this. I see a lot of good review and i don't understand if maybe I just had a bad stylist. First I went in to just get a haircut and I usually just use the hair dye in a box. They convinced me that they have the best hair dye and condition so I decided to give it a whirl! I explained to the stylist I like to have the straight rocker style no fluff or fullness, like razored at the ends and layered. When she was done she was like it looks so full and beautiful! I was like that isn't what I wanted it was a blunt cut and was horrible no sense of style at all took the good cut I had and wiped it out! I had to go home and fix it and I am waiting til it grow more so I can have my stylist give me back my great cut. This lady was a amateur, and does not know what the customer wants... go and continue to cut old lady hair. Also the great dye job did even cover the hair, mind you I was getting black done, and never have had a problem with black hair dye not covering my hair, and the extra condition is B.S.. It looked washed out before I even washed it. I have had better luck with Clairol. She told me we will get it next time...like I would pay that amount of money next time for B.S. On top of them trying to sell me Redkin products I have already have and tried and did not need... come one didn't I waste enough money on your B.S. Purely disappointed. I stumbled upon Julian Hans Salon about 2 years ago and I found a true jem. My hair has never been healthier and i look forward to my visits everytime. The most important thing is their service. They are always smiling and greet me by name. They always ask if I'd like something to drink and they always treat me like royalty. I say they because every single staff member does so and this is whats keeps me coming back and sending all my friends and family to them.
