Jubilee Child Care Ctr-Prschl

This daycare was absolutely horrible.\r \r This daycare was absolutely horrible. We had to deal with all sorts of racial discrimination and racial favoritism. Our child would come home with scratches, knots, bruises, and dirt caked in his hair and on his face. When questioned he would inform us that certain children in particular were picking on him. He identified children by name. The child that our child mentioned was a behavior problem and once I witnessed him in action and he was placed in time out several times in five minutes for pushing, shoving, hitting, and ramming in to the other children. When we expressed our concerns nothing changed and excuses were made. The only reason we can surmise that the other child was not let go was because he was white. However we noticed that our child was being treated unfairly. Example-Once we witnessed a little southeastern child being picked up by his dad. He looked fairly clean. The teacher rushed up and said oh I know he is dirty let me change his clothes. No other child would go home caked up in dirt like ours. If your child is white I am sure he/she will do fine here. If your child is of African American descent this is NOT the place for you. Do NOT waste your time and money. more

II am a Marine wife who travels a lot and we have been in Mobile for several years. My kids are at Jubilee and I believe it is the best place we have ever been!! The director goes out of her way to love and console kids. I believe that Marine Mom of 2 has her own ax to grind and has nothing to do with Jubilee. There has never been a child spanked here, (I know someone that works there) and if there every was I can promise anyone that there would be an investigation and the teacher would be fired. The rules are followed to the letter at Jubilee and the support is excellent. It is a same that people leave bad reports on sites that are lies to further their own interests. All the teachers are loving, they are cleared through DHR, FBI and ABI. The teachers are monitored, as they monitor the children. The policy is very strict, hands off, even no yelling at children. The children?s welfare is the most important aspect of Jubilee, and the Pre School program is excellent. Children that leave here have been reported back by some of the parents that I have talked to as being more than ready for kindergarten. If you are looking for a preschool, I definitely recommend Jubilee. Pros: Care is excellent, location is convenient Cons: price is a little high, but worth it more

This is a fantastic daycare where my child's needs always come first. I am an uptight mother with very high standards so I make surprise visits at all different times of the day and have never been disappointed with what I've seen. Of course, there have been minor situations that I've observed (as is to be expected with any daycare) but once I share them with the director (Linda), they are addressed immediately. She talks to each teacher so nobody knows who complained and no teacher feels singled out but they're ALL reminded of the standards to be adhered to. Pros: Linda Fos, the director. She is compassionate, professional and assertive. Cons: The price I guess. But I think you get what you pay for. more
