Recently i have been reluctant to go just anywhere to get my hair done, there have been times when i was reffered by friends to certain stylists and,nonetheless,i was not fully satisfied. I have gone through periods of keeping the same style because i was too scared to trust a stylist these days. i would just get a trim and color and leave it at that. I asked around and heard of the man with the golden hands..who? i asked..My friend said" the man with the golden hands" ! well, who is this man with the golden hands? RAMSESIII ! she replied..well, where is this RAMSESIII? She said JUAN JUAN in Beverly Hills on Wilshire blvd.! Fine, i said, let me go see this guy..when i went in i was scared when i came out i was exstatic! RAMSES Is MY new STYLIST!!!! more

I have been a makeup artist for 4 years now and i have worked with alot of hairstylists, in fact, if i needed my hair done, i would literally go through a list of dozens of people that could help my hair look good..i knew so many stylists but none have really make me look great.. I saw a model friend of mine and her hair was incredible!!! She told me to go see RAMSES III @ Juan Juan Salon in Beverly Hills.. Through the years ive had alot of different people styling my hair..and some were good..others mediocre..others were just not with it.. i always see fabulous hairstyles on models in magazines and wish that someone will cut my hair like that... i was reffered to go see Ramsesiii@ Juan Juan salon in Beverly Hills and when he started to cut my hair, he reminded me of Johnny Depp In the film "Edward Scisssorhands"..literally.. he has a different way of cutting and let me tell you, my new style is out of this world!!!!!! I have found a real Hair stylist!!!!!! more

I went in to see RAMSESIII because he was referred to me from a friend of mine who has outrageous hair all the time, i had asked her where to go to look great like yourself and she sent me to Juan Juan salon in Beverly Hills and told me to go see the Magician himself Ramsesiii. I went in and he greeted me with his wonderful charm and smile, he is simple the greatest hairstylist that i have ever been to. I could not be more pleased with both my haircut and the experience. Ramses III is by far one of the most talented hair stylists in all of Los Angeles. On top of Ramses III talent, he has also managed to make the experience memorable and entertaining. Watching him strip all my hair off was not the easiest to watch, however, it was 100% worth it. I have never received so many compliments on my hair before. Its healthy, modern and sophisticated. I give my thanks to Ramses III for being so amazing at what he does, as he is my NEW stylist... forever. I recommend RAMSES III, as it is not possible to come out of the salon disappointed. He is AMAZING!!!! more

Some people are just born for their craft -- and Ramses III is one of them. He's truly an artist. He was referred by a friend after I noticed the incredible amount of body in her hair, and she immediately disclosed that it has nothing to do with how she blew it out -- and everything to do with her hair stylist. I booked an appointment right away, and the rest is history. I have thick hair, and everyone I have gone to attempts to layer it, and I find the result is that my hair has a bunch of layers on the bottom, and yet it still looks heavy on the top. Ramses III fixed the problem, and I swear that I can't walk down the street without people asking who cut my hair. Mostly, people ask me the same question I asked my friend -- "how did I blow-dry my hair to get that much body in it?" The funny thing is -- I don't even blow dry it anymore. I sent a friend with very thin hair to him also, and he achieved the same masterful result. Plus, he's a nice guy. You can't beat that. Get him to cut your hair too. You will not regret it. more

The other reviewers are quite right. I never once thought that a haircut could change the way one interacts with the world, but in this case, it did. My first visit with Ramses was more out of happenstance then it was out of design. He's a great guy to chat with, very passionate about his craft, and he loves what he does. That kind of quality is rare, as I'm often used to dealing with stylists who tend to just "breeze" through their days/clients and often you walk away feeling like; "Well, that was a haircut, like any other." With Ramses though, he got me excited about my hair. I'm a dude. I'm a straight dude at that. I'm also a very practical guy and down to earth. But after that first cut (which was fantastic btw) I immediately noticed a change in my confidence. I just "knew" I looked good. I didn't question it. The results were immediate, being single in LA, I was actually asked out (usually it's the other way around) and have been kind of living like a rock-star (in my own non-conspicuous little way). I get compliments. I notice the admiring eyes from across the room. Things, which, I'm not used to. When I went in for my second cut about a month later my hair had grown out slightly different, it had a more "stylized" appeal to it. I noticed I wasn't using as much product to get the results I wanted. My hair was becoming "easy to manage" and coming from a guy who never thinks about hair, that should tell you something. I asked him about that mini-transformation and his reply was in his own way, simple; "Of course friend, because I'm changing the way you think about your hair." And you know what? He's right. I'm a life-long fan now and whether you be guy or gal, I highly recommend him to just about anyone. He's not only a great stylist, but a great guy. I have spent years and years trying to find the best colorist on the planet because I am so picky, and thanks to many online reviews I have literally hit the hair colorist and hairstylist jackpot!!! Many reviews indicated that Janelle Varada is an amazing hair colorist and that Jennie is awesome with cuts, so I decided to make an appointment and hope for the best... well, I left the hair salon today with the most beautiful hair that I have ever had in my adult life!!! No colorist I have ever been to before could top Janelle's incredible talent and eye for color and Jennie's cut and blowdry was the best I have ever had! I brought in pictures of hair color and style that I was dying to have, that nobody before could ever come close to giving me, and Janelle and Jennie nailed it the first time!!! Both ladies spent alot of time with me and did not juggle me at the same time with other clients like some colorists and hairstylists do, and for four hours I was their main focus! Even their adorable assistant Anna made me the most delicious cappuchino's and made sure I was very comfortable while the ladies worked their magic! I had to contain my emotions when my hair was finally done because it was so gorgeous that I could not believe my eyes! I never thought in a million years that my hair could look this good, and my boyfriend said that in the 11 years he has been with me that my hair has never been so beautiful! Please run and do not walk to see the gorgeous and amazingly talented Janelle for color and beautiful and highly creative hairstylist Jennie for cuts...you will not be disappointed!!! Not only will your hair turn out EXACTLY the way you hope for, but you will be getting to know some of the sweetest ladies I have ever met which is an added bonus! Ramses III is a SUPER TALENT with hair cut and styling. I needed a GLAMOROUS, OLD HOLLYWOOD look for a photo shoot, and he knew exactly what to do. Seriously, he is like a SCULPTOR with hair, and it looked amazing. I am not surprised to learn he did hair for PARIS FASHION SHOWS for years. He's fun to talk to, as well. Stephanie is the MAKE-UP ARTIST who has created GORGEOUS looks for both PHOTO SHOOTS and MY WEDDING! She, too, knew how to make me look like a SILVER SCREEN GODDESS. The eyes, the lashes, the lips.... not to mention the PERFECTLY ARCHED BROWS she gave me. Seriously, this is my salon for life. The vibe in JUAN JUAN SALON itself is comfortable and welcoming, too. No attitude, very casual. You will love it! more

Ramses III is a great hair stylist! Never before have I received so many unsolicited and random compliments on my hair. He truly is an artist. He cut my hair so it just naturally falls into place each day with minimal style effort needed. And....it looks great as it grows out between cuts too. more
