Tapia construction worked on a $190,000.00 addition/remodeling of our house in Santa Fe. Internal and external walls were built not where specified by the architect. Because of this, the custom made vanity for the bathroom has to be remade and replaced at our expenses. We had to call and call and call before the hot water was fixed and flowing in the bathroom. It is still running poorly in the laundry room, but there is no point in calling Tapia or the plumber who did the work because they do not return the calls or come. Huge cracks appeared on the new stucco from the ground to the top of the wall. Tapia fixed one of them....but with the wrong stucco color and refused to repair it. Internal cracks from floor to ceiling were not fixed. Overall an unpleasant experience. And, we are still waiting for our key back and for the release papers. I have filed a complaint with 2 New Mexico Customer protection Agencies, which I am not allowed to mention in this review.
Pros: Juan Tapia is always smiling
Cons: But does not really check his work or stand behind it.
