The thumbprints were my favorite and were the girls favorite as well. Not as pretty, but taste out of this world. It was a kind of sugary, shortbreadish type with the perfect texture and bits of almond and a dollop of frosting. Perfection with a cup of coffee. more

BEST cupcake and cake icing, EVER! But that's not all, their donut holes are amazing, thumbprint cookies are memory makers, and the huge Sesame Street character faced cookies make ever kid feel special! Joy Ann's was a part of my childhood and is also a part of my adulthood. Yumm! more

I used to live in Richmond and my grandpa used to get us donuts, creme horns, and birthday cakes from joy anns. I wish we had a bakery like that here in Virginia :-(. Can anyone ship me a creme horn? this is from a pregnant lady by the way. Plain and simple this place is amazing! more

This place has been around forever but the offerings are still the same. Thumbprint cookies are outstanding as are the fruit and nut bars. Creme horns and cakes are worth while. I no longer live in Richmond but always make a trip to the bakery when in town and am never disappointed. more
