Joslyn Art Museum is a wonderful place to go any time of year. The whole family will find something to enjoy. They have new exhibits constantly, world-class art that is appealing to all. The exhibits have events that tie into the theme. For example, The Norman Rockwell exhibit had watercolor and drawing projects for the kids, and the chance to dress up in "retro" outfits and have your picture on the "cover" of Saturday Evening Post. Highly reccomended! more

Great date spot 10/12/2005

If you are running low on places to take your wife or you need a good first date spot, check out Joslyn Art Museum. The admission is very low and there are hours to be spent there. Take your time looking through everything and you will not be dissapointed. A great place in Omaha! more

Very Nice. 9/26/2005

This is a very nice museum in downtown Omaha. There are some interesting things for kids and adults, so everyone will be happy. It is very well laid out and It is never really very crowded. There is a nice gift shop and snack bar area. Best of all, It's free admission and parking is free. more

Great Family Activity 9/17/2005

I really like the Joselyn Art Museum. It's a great way to spend a Saturday morning (admission is actually free on Saturday AMs) or a rainy afternoon. Admission is very reasonable and there are a variety of good exhibits. Joselyn Art Museum offers a series called the First Friday Jams during the Fall. They are so much fun to attend and family oriented so it makes for a fun night out. They also offer the Jazz on the Green during the summer. more

Joslyn Art Museum 8/18/2005

Before going to the wonderful night at Joslyn of Jazz on the Green, we went through the museum. What a great experience! The museum holds many pieces of art and sculpture that one would expect to find in much larger museums and larger cities. The glass work is breathtaking. The gift shop never fails to deliver the perfect gift for that hard to find person on your list. Then to top everything off, a night of jazz music right on the museum lawns. Joslyn is a gem in Omaha. more

Classy Place 8/4/2005

The Joslyn Museum experience starts even before you walk in the door. The building is made of a lovely marble, and the stairs to the entrance are magnificent. As you walk in the great hall, you can't miss the bright blown glass hangings that are beautiful. The exhibits are always very interesting and there are usually special shows going on. This is a really nice place to go on a date or just to go spend a quiet afternoon. more
