The level of work and professionalism of the workers was excellent. I still have work that needs to be complete and the communication on the status of that work is where I see improvement is needed. Joshua Tree came to my house to remove a couple of long branches and the remnants of a dead vine from a large sycamore oak. They also ground several stumps in my yard. I was more than happy with all of the work the guys did. They were quick, efficient and friendly, and the yard was cleaned up before they left both times. The tree is a lot healthier now and the yard is more level...and the cost of these two small jobs was very reasonable. Joshua Tree was also excellent in terms of their communication with me. Very courteous, conscientious employees. These guys trimmed my enormous tree during a multi-hour snow squall. They did an excellent job as they always have done. They moved statuary that were in their way and put everything back when they were through working. Joshua Tree does a great job keeping my trees pruned and trimmed. We have been concerned about the health and safety of four large trees on our property and knew they should be evaluated by a Certified Arborist. After researching area tree care companies, we contacted Joshua Tree. We were impressed by the detailed list of services presented in their web site and made an appointment to have an evaluation of the problem trees, an overgrown lilac, and a quince tree. The evaluation was not only thorough, but the arborist who made it told us that three of the trees either presented no safety problem or were in poor condition and basically not worth expensive treatment. Cabling and extensive pruning was suggested for the fourth tree, and pruning for the lilac and quince. A detailed proposal was emailed to us within 24 hours. Since other companies had trimmed or removed trees for us, we believed the quoted prices were fair. We knew it would be several weeks before the work could be done, but the team who did the work was very meticulous and safety-conscious. The best word to describe Joshua Tree, Inc. is professional. They did some woodwork for me about a month ago, removing some limbs off of a tree and also did some stump grinding. They did all of this without damaging and property and cleaned up all the sawdust. They're honest, efficient, and reliable. They gave me a pretty good price and left me very satisfied with the job they did for me. I was expecting more limb removal. The trees are still pretty full which means I will have to consider pruning again very soon. Not many homeowners know this (I apologize if my representative didn't discuss this), but it is recommended to not remove more than 25 live growth during one growing season. I'm very satisfied with Joshua Tree, Inc. This is probably the third season I've used them. They started out doing some tree trimming for me at first, and then they tested the ground for me. I had a lot of bare spots that didn't seem to want to grow. Whatever they put down seems to be working. They come about six or seven times a year. They are very friendly. I can call and ask questions if I need something or if something comes up. They always call me right back to address my question. Our home and trees look amazing. What can I say other then the whole experience dealing with Joshua Tree has been wonderful. From meeting with Jamie to give us our estimate to dealing with the men that came to do the work has been a total joy. I would highly recommend to anyone needing any tree or soil management to give them a call. They are fair priced and the men were like monkeys in our trees cutting out the dead limbs. My experience with Joshua Tree was very positive. The arborist was very informative and professional; the tree staff were competent, timely, and cleaned up well following the completion of all the work. The office staff worked with me on scheduling a time when I could be available to be at the property while the work was done. All in all, I cannot think of a single complaint.
