Went to Josh's Used Tires a couple months ago to get a new tire for my car after having a flat. I was skeptical about buying a used tire but I had a small budget and needed the repair quick. Bad idea! First of all, Josh's Used Tires is shady, the people working there looked like ex-cons and they joked around about drugs. Despite that, I had them put on a used tire for $35, then they charged me an extra 15 just to balance the tire (shouldn't that be included) Once they brought me back my car I looked and my hub-cap had not been put back on. I asked about it and they said they would sell me a new hubcap for an additional $15.... After some persistence and insisting that I had a hubcap after the employees went into the back and "checked" for it I had to go into the shop myself and sure enough there was my hubcap sitting in the tire machine. I took it with me and they told me to have a nice day... yeah right, now I have to jack my car back up, take the tire off just to put my hubcap back on... but atleast I didn't loose it or have to pay the extra $15 bucks. Well, the tire lasted less than a month and blew out pretty bad. Luckily I didn't have my kids in the car at the time and I managed to get the spare put on and was only 1 hour late to work.
In short, don't use this business, they are a scam. If you need tires go buy them new. My good friends at NTB on 183 across from Main Event ((512) 335-3777) just set me up with a pair of new tires. I paid about $25 more for each tire than I spent on the used tire with Josh's Used Tires.
Avoid this business or you may be putting your family and anyone in your car in danger
