Too big of a hurry going to maximize billed hours at the expense of consistent performance. Josh does good work his employees are hit or miss. more

Do not service your bike here!!\r \r So I call on the phone to get a quote on throttle adjustment, service, and powder coat on my forks. I get told it would be around 450-500 and two weeks until it would be complete. I bring my bike in and then I am told around 600 for everything. Ok, so I figure I would pay the additional since my throttle was jacked up and I didn't feel like driving it to the Harley Dealership in San Marcos... Two weeks later I call for an update and am told that my forks were not even sent to the powder coating place yet. So he tells me it would be complete in about a week so on week 3 he says the bike is done. I go in to pick it up and the throttle was sticking just how it was when I dropped it off. Josh takes a look at it and has his mechanic bring it in to look at it again. The mechanic comes out and says I need a new throttle cable to fix my problem (could have told me that the first time). So I order a new throttle cable and wait another week because they didn't have the 45 degree angles in stock. So a month has passed and I go to pick up my bike- finally! These guys went ahead and put a new throttle cable and a new idle cable which I didn't need. They weren't the 45 degree angle like what was suppose to be special ordered! So I go to pay and what was quoted at 600 turned into a 870 bill!!! I got charged for 3.5 hours of labor for what took a month and I wonder how much time was actually spent on the throttle. So the icing on the cake was when I go to start my bike up and it doesn't even turn over! They look at me and say I think your battery is dead (but it sure wasn't when I dropped it off)! They jump my bike and the guy has the nerve to tell me I need a new battery and he has one in the back. At this point I just wanted to get the heck out of that place and I just needed it to run. I brought my battery to the Harley shop to have them test the battery and it was perfectly fine. However, now i have a problem starting my bike every time. I will bring it to Biggs Harley because they have an awesome staff that actually tells you what they are doing to your bike and provide awesome customer service. Avoid this place at all costs-especially if you are military because you are just a dollar sign to them! Luckily being in a military motorcycle club I warn all the Marines of this shady place. No sorry, no explanation, just outright don't really care about customer service. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. more

Late Sunday I noticed that my Harley needed new brakes. I called around most shops would not entertain the option of looking at it until Tuesday because there service department was closed. the sales person here said bring it in Tuesday and they would have it out Tuesday evening. They gave me a ball park estimate over the phone of 200.00 parts and labor. I recieved outstanding service. My bike was in the shop by 9:30 they had already looked at it and had a parts list ready to go. Even upgraded my pads and it only cost 225.00 total out the door. Brad was helpful, curtious and assisted us with answering our questions. I use to take my bike to the dealer in San Marcos until now as they are a certified Harley repair shop. They are a true Motorcvycle repair shop not the want a be's. more
