Red Lobster is better 6/30/2009

A very long wait for your food. The sodas and beers are ok. The staff and boss are liars, promised me a job and didn't come through those morons. You wait forever for your food, even longer their fridays, and in Jordans it comes out darn cold!!!!!!!! If you eat @ jordans you'll be sorry as their rival Fridays will eventually close the fishy place down. Half the time the burgers are raw, but I suggest the frozen yogurts next door at cold stone creamery. And in jordans the heat is so hot toward the back, you'll even sweat in the winter, and the air conditioner is so cold in the summer, you'd need a winter coat. Pros: they'll be out of business before the end of time Cons: expensive and too much competition with Friday's next door more

BEST LOBSTER ROLLS 3/23/2009

Had the most deliciousl lobster roll yesterday. Hands down better than any i've had anywhere! I've had many in the city and nothing compares to Jordans. There are no fillers, they are pure lobster meat, on a bun with lettuce. And you get coleslaw and fries, either regular or for $1 more, sweet potatoe fries. I've also heard that the fried filet of sole was the best my cousin ever had, and the seafood bisque was delish.\r Try and meet the owner, he's so personable and nice!! Overall we had a great time. Its not fancy but it doesn't need to be, seriously folks, go there and and you get great seafood! Pros: Nice staff, great owner, clean, good for kids, etc. Cons: small, more outdoor tables please! more

Where's the clams? 5/18/2008

I was very disappointed in the quality of the fried clams at Jordan's. They were mostly breading and had little if any clam flavor. Our receipt promised a free order of french fries but we didn't get them and the staff didn't understand English well enough when I asked why. For the price, there should be more service, more atmosphere, and more clams! Two stars is generous for this place. Pros: Fresh food Cons: Poor customer service, poor value, poor ambience more

Lobster Fan 5/5/2004

This place is Brooklyns version of a Maine lobster pound. While it can get pricey, 25$ for a lobster 3sides and a refillable drink, its tons of fun, and the food tastes great! Definitely a must!! Pros: Lobster, All other seafood, Divey Cons: , damp, ALWAYS COLD!! more

Good Neighborhood Seafood 10/15/2002

Jordans is one of the best quick cheap seafood places in the city. Great fresh seafood right from the market next store. Fried clams are one of my favorites along with the lobsters and soups. The shrimp and lobster bisques are very good, but serverd in styrofoam cups which will affect the taste if not eaten quickly. Stay away from the corn in the platters. Always overcooked and tasteless. Cashiers can be a little more attentive and the TV reception stinks - as does the choice of shows. Pros: quick reliable food, Bisques, Neighboorhood place Cons: Corn, Styrofoam cups more
