Very nice and professional 1/8/2012

I hired these guys in August for a one bedroom move from the University District to Capitol Hill and they were awesome. Fast and efficient, and super friendly. They even disassembled some complicated furniture I'd misplaced the papers for and reassembled it upon delivery (sans directions), making it look easy. Even though they seem like college students (?), they were extremely professional. Would hire again, A++! I'm thinking about giving them a call to help me move some heavy appliances around the new house now. more

Not a bad choice 12/18/2011

I was completely unprepared on the moving day but my friend convinced me that if we had to hire Jordan River Moving and Storage my move would go completely stress free . I called this company and unhesitantly booked them up. The guys from Jordan River Moving and Storage showed up, took charge quickly to ensure a fast move, and I was in my new home within hours. Their entire team had a great attitude. I felt they were on my side during the move. They made the whole move appear so effortless, I felt like leaving them with their chores and as I had got to go to visit my office but nevertheless they were smart ,efficient and reliable. My only concern was that for some reason they did not accept card payment on that day and I had to go to my bank and get a cashier’s cheque prepared for them . Overall the moving experience was good. more

Accurate and worthy! 9/26/2011

I haven't moved in fifteen years or so and hence I was reluctant to schlep our belongings down a flight of stair for our move. I called a half dozen movers and four of them returned my call. I spoke with the sales rep about a month before move in and he quoted me a rough estimate over the phone of about $300.00 dollars for about 50 to 60 boxes and the normal one bedroom accessories IE; entertainment center kitchen and garage. I underestimated the amount we have, which was about 120 boxes, and it doubled the price, I was OK with that because initially the quote was solely based on my judgment and the information I provided them. more

Superb Move! 9/18/2011

Had done all my homework before choosing my moving provider Jordan River Moving and Storage. First I want to say how easy websites like these make it to check out the character of the mover you are contemplating. After much debate we choose Jordan River Moving and Storage based on the reviews and clarity of the sales person Corey. He was clear in his description and took the time to go and do thorough items list as i wanted no surprises in the end. The packers where neat and clean but most of all treated our things with respect and care. Our overall estimate was accurate and the service described was excellent. more

Good experience 8/28/2011

Jordan Moving and Storage was recommended to us by our friends. With our impending move, we needed all the help we could get through the sales people when we contacted them. They gave a reasonable quote and we went with him. Although their guys showed up 15 mins late, they moved quickly and efficiently and the way they wrapped the furniture was simply amazing!! Pleasant to work with and reasonably priced and they definitely don't slack off! Kudos! more

Capable and Honest Movers 8/21/2011

I had never moved by myself before, and I was concerned about finding honest, capable movers. I was moving from a house to a second floor apartment across town. Three guys came and were able to disassemble and reassemble two large complicated furniture pieces in good time, as well as move all my other furniture. Jordan River Moving and Storage provided wardrobe boxes that I was able to pack myself while they loaded their truck with everything else. They maneuvered my large couches in small places and were very nice and friendly. I was so thrilled at how smoothly everything went, and in the middle of summer! The cost was very reasonable compared to what I was expecting. I didn't have too many boxes or a huge amount of furniture, but I still thought the price was fair and reasonable. I highly recommend Jordan River Moving and Storage company for any type of move. more

I was a leasing agent for 5 years and always proudly referred Jordan River Moving & Storage to the residence that were moving in or out of the area. The residence were always very happy with their move.
