Welcome to Jones-Haywood Dance School, celebrated in the nation's capital for over 70 years for its commitment to providing high-quality dance training and arts education to students of all races and socio-economic backgrounds. Founded in 1941, the School has trained students who have gone on to celebrated careers in dance as members of Alvin Ailey Company, Philadanco, Royal Netherlands Ballet Company, The Washington Ballet, Paul Taylor Dance Company and on Broadway, and as choreographers; actors of stage, film and television; and dance educators.
