I have been coming to this Animal Hospital for over 8 years and never have I even heard of someone having a negative experience. And I am in there a lot. I have 5 pets, cats and dogs, and like the service I receive from all the staff there. The doctors are great, I have had need to see them all. Dr. Halada is my favorite, and Dr. Jones did a great job fixing my English Bulldog's torn ACL. He explained everything that was happening and how the surgery would correct the lameness. It worked just as he described. The regular vaccines are affordable and they don't push any unnecessary products or services there which is something that turns me off. I am always able to get an appointment that is convenient, and they are up front about what to expect. The way they treat my pets is so loving and kind. Dr. Kevin also is tops for me. The worst "animal care" EVER 8/22/2011

These people that call themselves animal lover's or at the very least animal care giver's uh no. I was about $25 dollars short on treating both of my dog's who had been poisoned. $25 dollars I told them they could hold my atm card until the money hit the next morning. They are the closest 24 hour Vet to me. They told me no flat out NO! I had to either PICK 1 OF MY DOG'S OR PUT THEM BOTH DOWN! THEIR WORDS HERE "YOU WILL HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY A NEW DOG! I didn't want a new dog I wanted mine! Luckily by the time I finished crying I found my regular vet's home number which i do not recommend. She was upset, but she saved both of my dogs for $100 less and said she would have happily take part of the payment the next day it was only 3 hours. These people from the vet's to vet tech's to receptionist's DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANIMALS!!!!!!!! more

Great vets 8/15/2011

The vets at the Animal Hospital of Cornelius are the best. They are always caring and have done a terrific job with my two pets - including my cat and her hyperthyroidism condition. I love what they are doing with their website (finally)and they are always willing to listen courteously. The new office manager is very funny and friendly. It is a well run hospital for as busy as it always seems. more

Great, loving, and affordable service! 11/19/2010

This is the best animal hospital. They took in my kitten, Jude, for a whole week when he got a tear in his colon. They stitched him up for free because they'd never done the procedure before and only charged me boarding fees since he was "such a good boy" and didn't require much tending to. However, they kept his wound clean and gave him antibiotics and played with him daily, so I know he was well-cared for. more

Great Animal Hospital! 7/7/2010

I've used this Animal Hospital with 3 pet's of mine. Whenever I had an emergency they took me right in. Over the past 5 years I've had the pleasure of seeing 4 doctors and they all were exceptional with my dogs. When my River dog was sick, the bills were growing, they still saw my dog, Dr Jones even waived the visit fee, he knew how much I loved my dog. The office staff were always so kind, to my dogs and to me! more

Dr. Kevin is great! 6/8/2008

We take our Beagles to Dr. Kevin and found him to be extremely gentle and caring with them. He handles our pets like he's taking care of human babies. Dr. Kevin is obviously in the right profession. I've taken animals to other vets and there is no similarity. The others were rough and uncaring; the opposite is true here. I've seen Dr. Kevin interact with his own children and children of others and he treats animals in the same meek, mild, and respectful manner. The staff at the office have always been caring and are very professional. If someone feels "wronged" by this practice, take it up with your offender and don't slander a great professional like Dr. Kevin Jones. Pros: Very knowledgeable and professional. Cons: Area traffic when leaving the parking lot. more

I love this place, Dr. Kevin Jones has been so helpful since finding out that our 10 year old lab Ubu is experiencing liver failure-I can not tell you how important this animal is to our family. she is my best friend. Pros: very loving and kind Dr. Jones Cons: NONE more

Animal Hospital of Cornelius (NC) goes the "extra mile". 4/24/2008

The one-star rating is VERY puzzling becuase if anyone could witness how they have lovingly taken care of our three "kids" (adoraable cats), it would be impressive and then some. They are hand-holding compassionate, gentle as can be and patiently understanding. In our 9-plus years with them, I can only consider them as a model veterinary agency. Pros: They treat your pets as they would treat their own. Cons: None whatsoever. EVER! more

BEWARE! The worst!! 3/26/2008

I have been a client of the Animal Hospital of Cornelius for over seven years. They have become increasingly worse over the past five years. There are a couple of good vets there...however, outside of these caring individuals the practice is NOT concerned with the animals...only the profits. more

Thoughtful, kind, professional 12/4/2007

I have been to this vet several times and have always been very happy with their service. While waiting for a procedure to be done, the staff offered me an empty exam room to wait in since I was clearly in tears. I've always been able to make appointments quickly and easily. Appoints always available. Staff and doctors always take time to do a thorough job and answer questions. I have brought my pet in several times without an appointment and was able to get fit in.
