I originally had a bill for $75 from the hospital. You know, the kind where you don't know if it's really a bill or not because you're waiting to see if your insurance will cover it. Anyway, the unpaid bill got turned over to Jon Barry & Assoc. What a rinky dink outfit! I got a letter from them saying that I owed the $75. I had just got layed off from my employer, so I didn't really have the $75 to spare at the time, so I sent them $50. You would think that they would send me another letter for the remainder. No, not them! They're not professional enough to do that. The only way that I find out about it is when I just by chance request a copy of my credit report from one of the reporting agencies, and there it was. Wow! Was I shocked. I can't believe that it was turned in as a bad note on my credit report for $25 stinking dollars because they are too unprofessional to send a follow-up letter. But when I call them to inquire, they say that they have tried to contact me repeatedly (I never received any calls, or letters), and they turn around and fill out a bunch of negatives on me and put it into my file because I get upset with the lies they are telling me. But of course they fail to mention how they conducted themselves when talking to me. Then, after I requested a bill from them, I get it and attached is one of the most offensive letters that have ever received. And I am totally shocked when I find out that there is no one, no internal department, no customer service that you can call and complain to. It's like ""shut up and pay the bill stupid"". Never, ever will I speak highly of this unprofessional outfit.
Pros: Absolutely none!
Cons: Bad business conduct is the norm!
