I was searching for a threading salon on Google, and found Jolie Salon. Well, I never knew I can love my own eyebrow. The stylist at Jolie salon name Sangita, she listens carefully and explained me about the shape I had, the shape I could totally look different with. What a difference! She is not only talented with threading, she is also an excellent Hair Stylist. Since she gave beautiful eyebrows, I decided to let her do my hair. From shampoo to Blow Dry, she is very gentle, sweet, and professional lady. And gave me a great haircut. I found an excellent hair stylist?. more

Took my teenage girls in for a haircut today. I made the appointments with Katherine because I had already taken my son in for a cut and she just happened to be the stylist that was available at the time we walked in. It's so nice to have found such a great stylist in such random way. Today she took the time to listen to everything we had to say, answered all the questions that we had and made suggestions in a very kind and professional manner. Definitely making her our official stylist. Thanks Katherine for doing such a great job and making the girls happy! more

OMG!!!!!!!!!! I went to see kathrine for the first time for a haircut she was fixing a bad haircut that another person gave me well any way she is soooooo nice and does a great job. But that is not the reason i am writing this i went back to see her again when i turned my hair ORANGE yes i said ORANGE. She fixed it it was like night and day highlights and color LOVE IT sooo if you dont go see her you are DUMB. So thank you Kathrine Valerie Stewart more

I mave lived in Hockley for about 5 years and I have been looking for a salon I can trust. I was walking around with a BAD hair cut and scared to trust a salon to fix it. I had been through 3 stylists and I was terrified. I came in late one afternoon last month and met Kathrine. She was sure she could help me. Boy did she! She not only gave me a hair cut but restored my confidence in others. She made me feel comfortable and I was very pleased with my hair cut. Kathrine is very patient, professional and knows what she is doing! She is worth her weight in gold. I would recommend her to anyone I know and to those I don't know. She is the best! more

Threading is awesome... Sangita does great threading. She is very gentle, and listens to client carefully. My eyebrow was ruined by someone else, and she helped me reshape, not too thin, just the way i like them. more

I was getting my hair done for a special evening for a Christmas party. My hair is very frizzy and curly and the stylist got it to stay non frizzy all day. I also wanted to put curls in my hair. I had done many trials prior to finding this salon and no one was able get it to look how I wanted, much less get it to stay. I wanted it curly and half up and most important, I wanted it to stay in place. Where everyone else failed, she executed flawlessly! The curls stayed all day and the technique of the ""up"" portion stayed. - She was patient, listens and adjusts accordingly. She did my hair and my friends' just the way we wanted it. What's even more astounding is that all of us have completely different hair. My friend hair is short and thick. She got our heads looking exactly as we wanted even though it took different tools and techniques for all of us. - She was a delight. The stylist is very gentle and sweet. She did not complain about the way I wanted my hair to to look, nor did they try to cut or style my hair in a different way. I was very pleased with Jolie Salon, and I intend to go back. more

I went here yesterday to get my hair done for a wedding. The whole wedding party went. The bride looked wonderful but my hair was a complete and total DISASTER. (So bad that I plan on writing them for a refund). It took the stylist TWO HOURS to curl my hair (I have normal shoulder-length, thin hair). I wanted a simple side ponytail with a bit of height around the face (so the hair wouldnt lay flat on my head) and a bit of interest in the back where it would be tied with some natural looking curls. I brought two photos with me to show what I wanted. After the hours of curling and having to correct the stylist's poor technique - which left creases all along my head where the iron started - she attempted to pin my hair into a ponytail. It immediately began falling apart. She retried the ponytail and attempted to make it look 'natural' which ended up looking like an awkward mess. She used so much hair spray that my hair was literally wet - when it dried, it was gummy and white. I told her it wouldn't hold and that she should have teased the underside of the hair near my face to give it volume. She argued with me saying I had requested 'no height'. I never said that. She then teased it slightly and retried the ponytail which looked awful at this point. I just took it down and said to do something else (like pin the top of my hair back in a half-up half-down style). She argued with me again saying I didn't let her curl the hair right and that I said I didn't want any height, even though I JUST told her to add height or it would look bad. She then argued with me several more times trying to convince me to pick a new hairstyle out of a book or 'trust her' to do something nice and wouldn't just pin my hair where I held it. She finally did and put a haphazard 'curl' (flat loop of hair) over the pins, which didn't even cover them. At this point it had been 2.5 hours and we were late to the ceremony site. She then charged me $65 for awfully curled hair that was barely pinned right. At the same time, another bridesmaid had asked for a small trim of her bangs and although she specifically said she did not want a dry trim, they convinced her to let them do it. Sure enough, they completely messed up her bangs and she was an additional 30 minutes late to the church. (We had to leave her at the salon because they were taking so long.). I would recommend running as fast and as far as possible from this place and finding people who actually offer the service of 'updo' (and at that rate, a 'good haircut'). Stay away if you value good technique and fair prices. I am posting this review in as many places as possible so that no one has to experience what I did! more
