Each year I make 3 trips to Johnson's to purchase plants for the spring, besides all the corn and produce I buy during the year. When we got to the check-out the girl rearranged all 3 flats. When she was finished she said we had to pay extra for several plants. Seriously??? If they are going to sell plants by the flat, let customers fill the flats, or else sell the plants by the tray or by the individual plants. If you do not allow customers to fill the flat completely you should inform them what combinations make up a flat. There is a chart at the check-out with at least 10 different combinations. Tell us BEFORE we get to the check-out, not at the checkout when there is a line of customers waiting behind us, making a big spectical of it like we did something wrong. I would think with all their competition they would not treat their customers this way. This is just their way of squeezing more money out of their customers. Because of this experience we will no longer be shopping at Johnson's. RIDICULOUS!!
