John's pass is quaint and touristy with many unqiue stores. Some are pricy, some are not. Also you can book a tour or a cruise at the marina where you can also spend time watching some of the MANY pelican's chilling out on posts and boats. I mean if you are looking for a relaxed ambience and med-high prices depending on store, then John's pass a fun place to spend a few hours. Pros: Wide variety of shops and things to see Cons: paid parking more

It runs the full gamut from quaint, economical family dining, a variety of shops, to a relaxed ""kicked back"" attitude at Gator's offering a florida feel to dining and beverages. With a hint of a New England fishing village at first glance, you eventually realize that THIS is the real deal in Florida. With density ever increasing in South Beach, it is a given that John's Pass Village should be enjoyed before the masses migrate. 5 star! Pros: versatile, enjoyable, scenic more
