I attended a "celebration" here, and I must say, this is the idea some folks have of the "local Italian" restaurant.
Hot bread on the table, waitresses always moving between tables piling high the plates of food. And yes, the plates were stuffed with lovely Italian dishes.
We passed around some of the dishes for everyone to sample. Spaghetti, ravioli, soups and more. I had the eggplant parmesan, and the eggplant was tender yet crispy and topped with sauce and cheese. Sauce was a little sweeter than I prefer, but still good.
This is a nice place to eat, the staff was very nice to the large group that attended, and they kept the food and drinks coming. Good place for a big meal and good company.
