Johnny's Bistro On Main Street

I ordered soup of the day. Menu price was $4.95 but I was charged $6.95. After complaining manager arrived and told me that it is specialty soup. After pointing out that menu clearly states $4.95 he told that incredients are expensive and rent is high. He would not change the price. Orders to our table arrived 15 min apart, not nice when you want to dine together with your friends. Needless to say I am not going back. After Reading the other Reviews for Johnny's Bistro I was appalled at the Idiots That Post here. I have been to Johnny's bistro several times now and Every time The Food gets better and Better. The restaurant's atmosphere is casual and friendly. What sets Johnny apart From the Rest is that Johnny not only cooks food in his restaurant, He personally goes out to each customer and says hello to them. However, The one thing that may be confusing to people is that you order your food at the cashier. not the conventional way of having a waiter come to your table. Some friends of mine and I went to Johnny's Bistro for dinner. We all agreed the food was mediocre and overpriced. What were listed as paninis were not even pressed. You can get the same ""hot"" subs at Guiznos. One of my friend's got the Chicken Caesar Salad and said she had a better one at Panera's. For these prices, and no parking, I'm going elsewhere. My lunch is delivered to my work location by carryoutmenu,com. Yesterday's lunch was a ""California Dreaming"" sandwich from Johnny's Bistro. The best description is: horrible. I had to trash it after taking one bite. The minuscule amount of guac smeared on the top bun was a nasty brown color, the ""ciabatta"" roll was almost stale and tasted like plastic and the one piece of bacon I tried tasted as if it has been cooked days before and plopped on my sandwich straight from the fridge. I can't comment on what it's like when dining there, but this carryout experience hasn't made me want to visit any time soon. more
